I would say so. I'm really excited about getting this after playing the demo. Best demo I've played thus far. The game is a real breath of fresh air, quite unique and grizzly too. Do I hear "Duke Nukem" anyone?

Personally, I enjoyed it very much. The way the game messes with your perception (portals, walking on walls, etc.) is a really cool idea. It is kind of short, but its a blast to play. You can't really die in this, sort of like in soul reaver when you go into the spectral realm, so you'll be able to get through the campaign fairly easy. The multiplayer kind of feels like quake because its fast paced. If you are a FPS fan, you should definitely check it out.

If you felt ANY appeal to quake then get it

I really enjoyed playing through the single player campaign and look forward to see what they do with the sequel (outdoor levels would be nice as would human weapons besides a wrench). It is quite obvious that they skimped on the multiplayer though and for that reason im probably going to trade this in after I get the 1000 :(.

If it wasnt for the glitches that made me have to redo 2 levels and restart my xbox countless times.... I would definetely givve it a 10/10

I would have loved to buy this game but the multiplayer potion of the demo made me dizzy after about 30 minutes.
Talk about sensitive eh?:(

I did buy it and while I enjoy the game, I can't play it for a long length of time because it gives me a headache as well. Rent it, if you can, just to make sure it won't get you sick.;) I find myself switching between the single player and online play.

I wouldn't waste money on the Collector's edition. There's not enough extras for you to even think about buying it. Just stick with the $60 copy.

Not enough extras? Are you Crazy? There's a Metal Case, An Art Book, 3 Action Figures And MORE!

this game is great. it loads of fun, an multi is fantastic if you have a good server.
...but honestly this game is pretty short so i dunno you might wanna play is first cuz i've heard a few people say the game makes them sick *cough cough PUSSYS*. so rent if first, you'll prolly beat it in a few days, then try out multi.
it;s up to you...

I've decided I'm going to rent Prey just because I'd like to see how it all pans out, then buy it if I like it/ don't blaze through it in a matter of hours like most games for me; I usually waste money because games I buy usually lose my interest or I get all the achievements and don't see playing them anymore. Thanks for all the input everyone.

No! do not buy it, it is fun at first but once u completed it on both difficulties u get sick off it, coz the muitiplayer is really bad and laggy. (so rent it)

Im kicking myself for buying the limited edition.. I traded it in and got 45 bucks back, so only a loss of 20 bucks so its not bad. But this game is horrid.

i went 10-0 online when I hosted.. unless ur the host you are screwed, cuz it lags so terribly.. if you think games like DOA, Q4, etc, lag online.. thats nothing..

The single play takes about 3-4 hours first time through, about 2 1/2 hours the second time since you know what you are doing..

They are still offering 35-40 bucks on trade ins.. so if you have it get rid of it lol.

Overall. I was really disappointed with this game... it was very easy and not much of a challenge.
