Alright so I was looking around on Play.com and came upon Alan Wake(Clicky (http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/660025/Alan-Wake/Product.html)) for the Xbox 360 so is this actually right or a mistake?

I did try google but the shit it gave me did my head in and anything that didn't said there wasn't a date set, so I soon gave up and came running to you guys :P

I was actually under the impression it had been put back another year and wouldn't be out until fall this year at the earliest so yeah pretty confused :(

Ok, so on the 21st I went to play.com put in Alan Wake and to no real surprise the date had been set back to september/october so I guess they jsut hadn't got round to it.

Feel free to close this thread, not that anyone actually used it :\

Yeah I saw that, it's not changed to be due for release on 26/09/2008 which is the date I am trusting and hoping for.

As nice as these fake release dates would be, unfortunately nothing has ever been confirmed. A 2009 release is wishful thinking.

Yea, an official release date would be nice.
I may pick it up seeing how good it looks

Looks like we are looking at March 2010 now. Games pushed off this much dont amount to shit.

Games pushed off this much dont amount to shit.
Not necessarily. Duke Nukem Forever has been pushed off for 10 years, which means it's just going to be that much better when it's released.

On a serious note: I was just glad to see anything of Alan Wake at E3.

Lol all this phony release date stuff is hilarious!

They've already got my money (and have had it for a long time now), so I'm just glad we're finally mere weeks away...
