Figured I would post some of my latest works. I haven't made anything in some time as I removed PS from my computer when I cleaned it out.

Anywho I will do my best to put them in order from newest to oldest.

Captain America (for a 3-way battle. Needless to say I won which was quite the shock to me.)

Frank Gore (Won me "Design of the Week" on one forum)

Addai v2:

Addai v1 (meh):

Jeff Hardy (semi-request, tried alot of different stuff and eh... final looks kinda meh to me. Requester loved it and wore it for months though) proudly for awhile however.)

Torrie (request):

DMC v2 (one b/w one color, v1 looked blurry):

HHH (bored and had the redner just lying around):

Samurai v2 (v1 was blurry and had a few diff effects):

The Mars Volta (request I have a tut I made of this one somewhere):

Alba (for I battle I believe):

Twist on Grunge:

I take my little hiatus breaks every now and then. Been about two months since I created my last gfx.

I'm not fond of the font (aside from Torrie and the last one, those are good), so that's something you could possibly improve on.

Otherwise, nice stuff. Captain America and the TMV one are my favorites.

Yeah text/font is usually my downfall. One reason like half of them don't have text or they have simple text. TMV didn't have text until I did the tut in which I added as part of the tut. Jeff Hardy text was actually a picture from a book I found on google.

Text is almost always a pain. That's why a lot of people tend to tuck it away in a corner, blend it and make it really small. Eventually, it just becomes a tool to keep people from ripping your work.

Which is something you should look into because I noticed some of your best signatures up there don't have text at all. There isn't much keeping others from ripping those.

An easy way to do text is choose a small font and place it in a corner. Just big enough to be readable.

Now, I don't know if you know how to make a clipping mask or not but that's the next step. Make a new layer, apply the image and then create a clipping mask over your text.

Sometimes though, the text will look weird because it's a harsh image inside text and it will mess it up. And easy way to tackle that is to use a gaussian blur filter on the layer with the clipping mask applied.

You could also simply set layers of text to soft light. Then just move it around until it looks good.

Anyway, about your current sigs...

They aren't too bad. There's nothing offensive to the eyes and you seem to have some skill. My only gripes are they are way too dark. Except for the Twist on Grunge, Torrie and Addai V1 and Jeff Hardy sigs. The Addai V1 actually seems too light.

They also seem a little flat. Try blurring the background in places and sharpening the focal points to add depth.

And color, man! Where's the color? I think the Afro Samurai signature would look awesome if you kept it saturated.

Well, that's my 2 cents. Or maybe $8 depending on how you look at it. :P

Yeah, I know about clipping mask, lol. The Samurai warrior piece was made of nothing but. Here is the version with color. I did B/w however because I was a really big b/w fan when I made them.

i was gonna say the same as skillet in the colour sense. They're all so devoid of colour, you need to crack some in there somewhere. Otherwise, they're really good. The text on the dynasty warriors one is really good aswell!

Keep up the good work man and i hope you enjoy your time here
