how long did it take you to simulate 60 year franchise? im in the process i have done like 13-15 seasons but i was also do the dynasty trifecta so i had to play a game and take time saving and i did the recruiting ones also so those 15 seasons took awhile

I did about 20 seasons in 4-5 hours... But for like 1 in every 3-4 seasons I was making sure to go undefeated just by saving and reloading every time they lost... I am enjoying team hopping...

I'm around 6-8 seasons an hour. Painful as it is but I am close.

I just started 2038. Ugh. I am coach on 4 teams and 1 coach (USC) has stayed all the while which is amusing. 1 coach (Notre Dame) has had a really bad run of luck and just got picked up by some team ranked 113th.

I think the 1 thing I hate about this game is that the recruiting is so important, yet the computer does a horrible job of it for you.

I was Ohio State doing it. I had one coach the entire time, only one losing season (going 12-0 the very next year).

It got weird towards the end...being 10-2 and unranked? Being ranked #3 and playing an unranked team in a bowl? Being 8-0 in the conference and not winning it? Being ranked #7...win the next 3 games and fall to #11? Being #4 and playing in the National Championship game?

I dunno, I occasionally saw the year at the scroll on the bottom. It would say "Blah Blah" wins the 20## National Championship.

That was the only way I could tell... If you see who wins the National Championship, just check that schools history record... Will say when they last won the championship...

You can check your coaches record, given you haven't had any or very few losing season. It tells you how many winning seasons your coach has had.

Thank goodness for PIP, I'll try and watch tv and keep simming away. I think I'm about half way there.

You can also check what year you are heading into by going to "Custom Schedule" after the off season is done. Top right corner it will say Schedule for 20xx...nice way to keep track

man this took forever to do last night. of course i was watching a movie/tv show while doing this, but it sucked having to pause my movie every 5 minutes just to get the next section rolling. glad i'm completely done with this game.

so overall it would take me about 12 hrs. It is very time consuming and only those real achievement whores will do it.

If you want an easy way of looking at what your your in you can go to career stats and click the right stick on the first quarterback and scroll down to career stats and it'll give you the years there.

This achievement is like sticking your head in a donkey's ass for about 12 hours.

It stinks, it's boring and that is about how long it's going to take. You won't like it.:woop:

I'm sure EA got the hint since this was the only installment of the NCAA series to inlcude such an insane achieve. I've been stuck on 900/1000 for a little bit since coming back to this game and I might just leave it at that. I don't feel like risking a plasma burn and wasting 6 hours of my time for 100 pts...

If your team got into a bowl game, it will tell you what year when it says you are invited to play (bowl name) on ?/?/ the year.

Ugh...

I am trying to do this while watching TV...I need to hook my xbox up to a 12 inch tv or something...and set it off to the side. PIP would be sweet!!!

have been at it for 3 nights (about 6 hours) and am 25 seasons in.

I have been hoping around teams...best run was with Western Michigan...like 8 straight 10 win seasons. I love coaching the small teams and getting them pulled into the bigger conferences. (Northern Texas into the Big 12, haha)

Appreciate the pip suggestion. I hadn't thought of that. I was able to bang out a bunch last night while watching TV with my kids, without having to waste time switching back and forth to check on it. I have less than 20 seasons to go now until I'm done and can get on with my life.

I'm just watching "The Office" on Netflix and I'm doing this. Long and tedious, this process is.

The fastest i've been able to do it is 11 mins per season. with not having hardly any lag when you finish each section of the season. I would figure 15 mins per season. Do the math and you are looking at between 11-15 hrs for simulating ALONE.

i just simmed 10 seasons a day until I got it. better than sitting through it for about 8 hours.....

Working on this one at the office while doing real work. Definitely takes the boredom away and time I'd use at home to go for much more engaging achievements.

Picked this game back up last week (for the 3rd time) and all I need is the 60 years.

I'm at year forty and I've been simming a couple of hours a night for about a week...

Boy this achievement sucks.

EDIT: DONE!!!!
