Hey,
i bought rockband: band in a box w/game today
and im having serious problems with the drums

i just cant get comfortable playing them
like my legs ache after just one song
as i cant seem to position myself or the drum kit properly

any ideas on how i can solve this

Also: how far in is the Fall out boy song & the red hot chilis song?

Well for one you probably shouldn't be using your entire leg to do the pedal *If you are* Just use your calf. its a lot less painful. Also if theres a point where you don't have to use the foot pedal for a bit. Just keep your foot down on the pedal instead of raising up your calf/leg and waiting for the next one.
Try finding a flat surface on the ground and maybe put a blanket in front of the drum kit. *Sometimes on a flat surface I find that the drumset can slide a bit forward*

Hope that helps a bit as for the fall out boy and red hot chilis song I'm not sure :/

I found the drums a little uncomfortable at first but I can assure you that getting the position right takes a bit of fiddling but once you get comfortable you'll be fine.Also,as stated,keeping your foot down on the pedal when it's not in use is a great tip to stop your leg tiring.Pretty soon you'll get your comfort zone,just takes a while sometimes.
