SilverWolf24
If you have a good way of catching a lot of crab in one season, and obviously some of you do, then please post it here. I myself would like some tips because I'm having trouble getting a lot and only end up with about 200,000 dollars each king season. I know there are better ways because one person said they had their boat at 97% and another person said they were making 400,000 person season. So if you know a good way to get this or better, I and many others would appreciate it. Thanks!
PG_MaxPayne
Yeah I would too! I could use any tips on making a few extra hundred thousand from crabbing.

ROOKdaddyPIMP
I would start at the bottom of the pinkish/red area and then make a straight line up from there. I was getting between 85-105 keepers per pot. I then went back to the beginning and started picking them all up.
YouTouchUrSelf
On the easy mode, you can start befor the season opens, without penilty I have found. Then you can drop all pots, and usualy get back through half before the season opens. Then on opielio, I go to the harbour after every string, usually with about 80% and then start again. Stewie Griffin2
Soak time is key. Put about 3/8 a tank of gas and load up on pots. Set all your pots in a large circle right near the northeastern area where the dark and light blue meet. I have had better luck just above this line, a 10 pot string on a 45 hour soak will net 110 average, whereas the pots just south of the break will net an 85-95 average on the same soak time. Keep an eye on your bait and from here, run up to St Paul to get more and offload while allowing your pots to soak. Just so you know, there's ton of travel time with this method, but it does work and I got the millionaire chievo at the end of my second king season. Opillio crab, fish either just in or just outside of the checkered water. Don't ever wait for your pots to soak in fast time, always use your time for something. Keep the ice off the boat after each string, always check with the cook before fasttravel and allow your crew to sleep between strings if you've got a long run to the next one (a 1 hour fast travel will keep the cook from being available on the deck at the start of the next string). All those things should help get the Victory Delta chievo, and after you get that, screw them. Don't let them go in to warm up and all that, as their morale isn't all that important to catching crab. Good luck.
Harpua77V
Does ANYONE know how long each season lasts? I never know when to stack/store my pots before end of each season to avoid fines. They don't tell you anywhere in the game. thanks in advance, this game is frustrating.
