is there a way to begin a new game (not a scenario) and have no time limit (go on longer then 2100 AD)?

It's a bit of a shame, as I would like to go on forever after I have 'dominated' the other civz, just cause I'm weird =p

I know exactly what you mean. Some times it's good to be able to just play through the game creating your own perfect kingdom not worrying about the enemy or time limits.

Not weird is it?

On PC. you can go on forever. just you would have to take off the space race victories. then it would be pure domination. 360 has a time limit for every mode. i would know i got every achievement. :P plus i own every civilization that was ever made. wish 360 multiplayer didn't take 7 hours for 1 game lol

You can get past 2100AD on certain Scenarios. I think the ones I've tried are Oasis World (one of the Map-Packs) and Checkerboard World (also on a map pack). You definatley cannot get past 2100AD on the main game.
