So how do you tap? Is it a simple two fingered job or is it one hand on the controller and another controlling the buttons? :woop::woop::p

Please share your masterful techniques because I'm sucking right now!!!

I only ever use tap in swimming, basically because this is better that using the circular motion...

Use the toggle left to right when doing 100m, long jump, etc.

When you do have to tap (for swimming), get a sock and wear it as if it were a puppet. Rub the two buttons A+B for power up...

For the toggle left to right, I find that having the controller at an angle is better...

Sit it on your lap 90 degrees to the left (X button closer to you), and have the hand motion going up and down rather than along...

I use my wedding finger on my left hand to hit the trigger...

Bottom of a lighter between A and B, and rub vigorously. This way your arm is only stressing to move quickly back and forth in a small area as opposed to having to alternate fingers or even press the buttons.

ok i hold the left side of the controller with my left four fingers and use my thumb for the A button, lay the right side on my leg and use the other thumb for the B button, use the first finger on my right hand for the trigger- thats basic concept it changes depending on event

p.s. check out the mean mug

I rotate the controll about 45 degrees, and sit down kind of cross legged. Have the left handle of the controller rest just above your groin. I then use both thumbs to tap away (left thumb on B, right on A)

Thats how i got all my achievements for running swimming etc

i hold the top of the controller with my left hand then tap a and b with my thumbs.

when smashing the analog stick i just use the palm and move it left and right with the controller in the normal position.

A friend just told me a new technique. Basically you put your finger under your T-Shirt. And just slide it left and roght over A and B. Works a treat for him. Xbox back from repair tommorow so i will give it a go.

I've been using the stick waggling for the sprinting (100, 200, 400), and a AA battery on the buttons for the swimming and the long distance events.

This game is shit, i cant get any of these to work. This game is worse than Mario and Sonic, and thats a bad game. Wii however is better than 360 overall.

bottle cap over a and b works a treat, wrap it in a sock if u dont wanna scratch your controller or kill your thumb (might be marginally quicker too cos of less friction depending on the state of your sock!)

depends on event?

Swimming has to be a+b, which works really well for some reason
running i lodge the control into my left breastbone and use the analogue method.
for events that involve you moving both analogue sticks, i simply turn the control 180 degrees away from me, and it makes events like weightlifting PISS easy

most of the time i use the analog stick but i have to use a+b at mo got a blister in the middle of my hand,

but i put on a thermal glove, that i used for going to work when it was freezing, and use my thumb and rub over both back and forth.

I'm not so much of a tapper, I'm more of a rubber, lol.

I place the controller in my lap then holding with my left hand I place the right analogue stick so that it's touching the palm of my right hand. Then just waggle furiously.

Hmm, sounds so much like a euphemism!
