Last night me and my friend got the 1 million fans, neither of us played on expert, just hard, and sometime after we had 800,000 fans we would play medium cause we cant do hard on hand that feeds, flirtin with diasaster etc. we cant even beat the game on hard yet..... anyways just thought id let you guys know you DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY ON EXPERT for this achievement to unlock. Expert helps cause after we did 1 mil we played bloon and the first song on career and got 256,000 so yea it sucked playing 4 hours to go from 600k to 1 mil and we coulduve played a few expert songs, oh wel practice i guess. So if you dont even try for that achievement cause you cant play expert get it anyways on hard, hope this helps for ppl that cant pla on expert that well.

I got it playing on hard and medium. but now we can't eran fans unless we're on expert i think the hard cap is 1 million and expert is unlimited.

The guide was probably written before the patch. Originally the cap for hard was 640,000 fans, until a patch came and made the cap 1million for hard. So the guide isn't wrong for its time, just needs to be updated.

When the guide was first written, you had to play on expert. After a patch however, they uped the cap on hard to 1 million.

EDIT: Damn, beat me to it.

I've never had an update.

There was a patch?

I've never had an update.

Thats because the PAL disc shipped with the patch already on it. ;)

It's cause the guy wrote it a long time ago, and maybe doesn't know about the change. A recent patch changed it so you could go up to 1 million by only playing hard. ;)

I'm always slightly annoyed when people do topics like this, cause firstly USE THE BLOODY SEARCH FUNCTION!

And secondly, i'm always annoyed when people think they're the first person to know and it's huge news and get all worked up about it, this false sense of superiority

@ edd__ : I didn't know of this and I found it useful to spend 30 seconds of my time to read it. Theres no reason to flame a topic because you already know the information it holds. I'm sure other people than me also found it useful.

I'm an arsehole, so there is definitely reason to flame.
