So, I'm about to go to Wal Mart by my house to pick up a game. Can't decide though. The only 2 games that are out right now I've been thinking about (that I don't already have) are Ninja Gaiden 2 and Bourne Conspiracy. I've heard that NG is really tough and Bourne is really short. With a free weekend of sitting home, which game would give me better company? I'm scouring the forums lookin for info on the two in the meantime :)

Thanks.

Honestly, neither are worth buying.

Rent both of them.

I say screw Bourne and just buy NG2...

Bourne is way too short to buy. I haven't played NGII. I would suggest waiting a little till the 19th for Too Human.:)

How is the replay value though? I figure Bourne is pretty straightforward, play it, beat it, and get a crap load of achievements first time through. NG seems a little more in depth.

Have you played the demo for NGII? and i thought there was a bourne demo also maybe?

If you're committed to getting either of those games, then personally I'd go for NG2. I prefer the faster paced gameplay and all the gore :)

However, I'd recommended Soul Caliber 4 if you're into fighting games, and Unreal Tournament 3 if you are an FPS fan.

Basically if you want a short and quick 1000gs then get the bourne conspiracy, and if you want a game that takes time and is challenging, buy NG2

We really don't know what your cup of tea is so its hard to say. But I hate fighting games like Soul Caliber so I'd go with Bourne. The demo was fantastic.

You can easily get 1000/1000 in Bourne over a weekend. But it's definitely worth at least a playthrough if you're a fan of the series. Use a guide to get all passports, you can use the assassin trick guide if you're not good enough to beat the levels on assassin, and a bit of grinding you will have 1000.

For a buy, I'd go with NG2.

If you want something that's only going to last the weekend, then I'd head to your local Blockbuster (or wherever you rent from) and pick up Bourne Conspiracy for a few days. Ninja Gaiden 2 will become a major timesink if you let it and I'm not sure if you're really looking for something like that. They're also very dissimilar and as Colossus said, it's tough to tell what you'd enjoy. Did you play Devil May Cry 4?
