Well I dont know about you but I just broke my Gamerscore goal. well it was 10K well I'm not really that big of a whore (yet) and I feel good about it. My friend says its just a bunch of numbers and I know. So how did you feel when you feel like you have accomplished you wanted to do ?

Well let me say well done to you for achieving your first goal. for me getting past 10k was a good feeling but it didn't feel like a great feat had been accomplished i'm just really working towards 20k as thats the sort of number i shall feel proud off. :)

I hate getting to a goal, because I push myself to ge tthe next one, 1K then 5K, now 10K and 25% Completion, but I like the feeling that I get, and congratulations.

I feel great when I complete games, get my completion percentage higher (going for 75%), etc. I'm going for 10k gamerscore atm. Grats on 10k

Congrats on 10K.

I got to 20K like 3 weeks ago and I am so proud. Can't wait to hit 30K.

Nice job on the 10K.

I am pretty happy with myself when I complete a goal. I try to get to my next goal as soon as I get to my previous one. That's pretty much how they all work :)

Well I'm new to Xbox LIVE (almost a month's experience). And so I don't have a very high Gamerscore. But breaking my first 1k felt pretty good to me. And I just broke another 1k today. So I'm moving up pretty quickly.

I pushed past 30k recently. 32800 atm, so a nice new XBLA game perfected would put me at a nice even number.

Congrats on 10K.

Congrats on 10k! I think I've been in the teens too long now :( My goal is to get to 25k by the end of the year.

Congrats on 10k.
Setting goals and meeting them should always make you feel good.
I wanted to get 2500 in one week, which is not alot to some people here, anyway when I hit 2800 in one week, it felt great.

Congrats on breaking your first goal, now just work on your percentage.

10k is just the beginning of it all. More goals be there for you when you rise to the personal challenge.

I makes feel feel pretty good when I get a 1000 marker. Even happier when it's a 5 or 10 thousand one. So congratulations on getting the first big one. May there be many more.

Closing in on the 20.000 myself. First I was racing a friend of mine but he hardly plays online (read never) But the first 10000 were harder then the second one. And with the help from the new group I joined it might go even faster :)

Congrats dude, just wait untill the addiction kicks in and then your up all night chasing pidgeons (GTA4) or driving round looking for little yellow gates (burnout) or even bloody postcards (Cars)
IT NEVER CEASES! anyway back to normality.
Yeah it does feel pretty damn good.
I made it my goal to get to 20k i have the games and the group so bring it on.
Oh and when i got 12345 i sent everyone a message, maybe i looked sad but i didnt care

The problem with gamerscore is, nobody cares about your score, and it means nothing, only to you! but its so addictive, you just need to keep getting a bigger score, Microsoft really hit the nail on the head with achievements, we play games in ways we never did before, we get our moneys worth from games now.

My next goal is 50k, I normally work towards each 10k but I also am happy every 5k aswell. It doesnt mean anything, not many praise me, most people dont even notice, but to me it means everything, self satisfaction me thinks is the best description.

It feels great to knock down another 10k barrier, or of course, your first. But eventually it turns into a drug and a game with a huge amount of collectables *cough* Transformers *cough* that you would never collect on another console, now draws you in for those 30 - 40gs. I have played some of the worst games on the 360, and some of the best, all for those amazing points.

The only thing that is better than breaking a 10k barrier is 1000 pointing a game, which is what I've gone to now.

And seeing as a lot of people have goals, I'll set one too.....100,000 by January 1st 2009....Bit unrealistic, perhaps?

I was aiming for 100,000 by the end of the summer, but a whole but of games got delayed :(

Congrats, my goal was 50K and when I hit that I havent really been able to play many games, got burned out in the process. It's been a month since I could whore any points but I am slowly working back into getting points again.

I never set a goal that I NEED to get the points before a certain date. Just keep playing, complete games and get the points. That's all you need.
