Ok, Im on my 2nd 360.
My 1st got the RROD sometime last year
and my 2nd got it 2 days ago.
Does the 3 year warranty get refreshed for when I got my new 360? or dus it keep the same warranty length from the 1st?

Cause if it keeps the Warranty of the 1st Im screwed, but if the 2nd gets a whole new one then im safe =]

What happened with my latest xbox RROD experience was that if i had gotten a new xbox, i believe I would have got a full year warranty. However, since I got back the same xbox (in other words, it got fixed), they gave me a three month warranty.

My warranty was expired when I called for service and didn't have to pay anything to replace it since it was RROD.

Right so as its a Hardware failure and generally it's not my fault; Microsoft should fix/replace it for free?

Yes, they should.

They're doing it for me, and my console suffered a E74 Hardware Failure.
