I bought a black xbox controller and when i try and use a white rechargeable battery pack it turns on but keeps disconecting my contoller and turning off.
I don't want to waste £9.99 on a battery pack if i can fix it
But don't know, haha

Sorry I can't actually help but I have a question. Why the hell would you buy a black controller and then go and buy a white battery pack?

Is the battery pack fully charged? You never know, sometimes you forget the most obvious things...

Mine does something like that, but completely different. I have the baby blue one and with a white battery pack (I'm cheap OK?) and when I charge it it gets EXTREMELY HOT, and I have to take it out and let it cool down. They just might not be very compatible or something.

Mine does that too! I just got a black controller and when I put in a white battery pack that I had before at first it won't work and then it works and then 5 minutes later it disconnects. Sometimes it even does that when I put in the black battery pack. :(

Sometimes the battery packs dont get fit correctly, they are a little loose, and you dont get a good connection or itll disconnect if you move the controller around...Sometimes I have to wrap mine with a rubber band to assure a good solid conection, it seems to solve my problem!
