I would say rent. I picked up from Gamefly (rent) since it was the only thing available in my Queue and after about 3 days I've nearly hit 1000 GS with it and the game gets old.
At best I'd wait for it to hit the 30 dollar mark.

I'd say buy, its a great game and while most of the achievements come early and easily, the deity win ones will likely take you a while....infinite replayability with this game.

So it isn't hard to earn all the points?

But I like the game, really like it.

It isn't too hard to get the points. But now I am playing through on Deity difficulty with all civilizations. It does get a bit redundant, but I still enjoy it. However, I also grew up on the Civ's on PC.

it is a fun game and worth the buy --- it is repetitive once you beat it

I think the game is worth the buy. I got it for a birthday present at the end of July and I'm still playing it regularly.

I definitely have to say buy it. If you're doing it for the points alone then rent it. I, on the other hand, enjoy playing the game. If you have friends that play the game you can have fun in multiplayer. It was worth it in my opinion!

This game is a definite buy. Once you play it a bit it does get a little repetitive.

600-700 GS

1000/1000 GS

I enjoyed this game, but after getting all achievements except for the diety difficulty ones and a few others I stopped playing it for 3 months (because I was so bored of it). I just picked it back up the other day and finished it off but now I will probably never play again. FAR inferior to the most recent PC edition of Civ.
