SITH/JEDI HOLOCRON LOCATIONS - courtesy of MSXBOX-WORLD.COM (STAR WARS THE FORCE UNLEASHED GAME GUIDE. (http://www.msxbox-world.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11852)).

There are two types of Holocron in the game. The Sith Holocrons are red pyramids and grant you temporary boosts to your abilities and can help out in tough situations. The Jedi Holocrons are more difficult to locate and can gain you new Light Saber colours and other bonuses - these are glowing cubes in the game. I've numbered the Jedi Holocrons only and given descriptions of the locales of the Sith Holocrons.

BE WARNED THAT IF YOU COLLECT A HOLOCRON ON A REPLAY MISSION AND EXIT THE GAME WITHOUT SAVING FIRST IT MIGHT NOT REGISTER THAT YOU COLLECTED IT AND YOU'LL HAVE TO GO BACK AND COLLECT IT AGAIN.

PROLOGUE

10. As you jump across the gap in the middle of the second set of rings there is a Holocron which grants you 10,000 force points.

11. As soon as you enter this area and are informed about activating the gas lifts, Walk directly ahead across the laser on the level you start on and walk to the edge of the platform, you'll see below you in one of the laser rings a Holocron. To reach it jump onto the platform next to you and drop down on top of the laser. Wait for it to finish shooting and then drop down near the lens so that you land under it. Now jump back up and hurry to the Holocron which grants you 10,000 Force Points. Then you can drop down and activate the gas lifts.

12. Facing the large green lens in the open laser room. if you use the blue gas lift to reach each of the floors (not the objective) on the right side in one of the small rooms on the third floor is a Holocron which grants you 10,000 force points.

13. Facing the large lens , on the left on the 2nd floor in a corner is another Holocron which grants you 10,000 points.

14. On the top of the one of the lasers, on the top floor there is a Holocron. To get here use the gas lift on the right (as if facing the large green lens) to get as high as possible. You can then see that you'll have to double jump onto a beam and work your way up to the Holocron. Once you get there this grants you the Black Light Saber Crystal.

15. Once you reach your objective in this area and are ambushed by the shadow guards, there is a Holocron which grants you Force Combo Sphere on the left if facing the opening in one of the terminals.

While I'm sure Shadowmask appreciates the gratitude it's not necessary to make a post saying "Awesome guide for a game I've not played" which is what you just stated.

How do you know the guide is awesome? Sure he has found all of the Holocrons so it would lead you to believe he knows what he is saying... but that's not the point. The point is there is no reason to post saying thanks, awesome guide, and surely no reason to do so if you haven't even used the guide.

I have personally thanked him, he'll receive an A+ thread award as a thank you from this site. So please unless you have something to contribute do not post.

If Holocron 11 on Chapter 4 is listed in the wrong place that's a reason to post... Awesome guide is not. Once I've confirmed all locations this thread will be closed.

Just a suggestion: While they aren't required for the achievement, you may want to consider adding locations of the Sith Holocrons. In certain cases, knowing what Sith Holocron goes where can be useful for hunting down an elusive Jedi Holocron. They can serve as a bit of a guide post to let you know if you've missed one or not.

Great guide, though.

A question: Do the holocrons count if you get it, save the game, and then quit the level? Or do you have to beat the level for it to count?

Just want to add something. In Imperial Felucia, after you get the purple compressed Crystal, you can see a Sith Holocron across from you, you have to jump across the branches and do a double jump dash and it gives you INVINCIBILITY.

This is the Sith Holocron mentioned after Jedi Holocron 6

ANYWAY;

9. At the far end of this room you'll see more TIE wings to jump onto with a Holocron on one of them and another above you on a walkway. You'll need to grab one of the TIE wings on the ground and slot it into one of the wing bays so you can use it to jump onto to reach the holocron which grants you 10,000 force points.Edit: Nvm, I found putting it Vertical and onto the side of the joint, it'd drop down and fall into place.

2. After the cutscene when you've entered the Rebel hut as soon as you resume control, do a u turn and look behind you. there is a tree which behind it contains a Holocron. This grants you a Kento's Robe.Does using the code for Kento's Robe make it impossible to get that holocron? I don't think I had gone back there to check that spot, but, maybe I did without thinking about it.

edit: it does make it impossible to pick up the holocron.

I'm having a hard time with this holocron (although it doesn't matter right now since the game is glitched and not keeping my stats on the mission objective screen).

I must be doing something wrong, because no one else has asked for advice about this particular holocron on this thread. Any help.

ANSWER: The directions are lacking. The control prompts should be:

A, A, LB(HOLD), B

I already had "Dashing Blast" purchased. I was just following the guide too exactly.
Note: You can actually do it without holding down the LB, but you have to push B fast, although holding LB does make it easier.

Just a note on Holocron #11 in Imperial Felucia...in order to reach this sphere, you MUST HAVE PURCHASED the Dashing Blast force combo, otherwise you cannot reach this holocron.

That's probably worth noting in the guide, just in case. Playing through my first time on Sith Lord (and netting all the holocrons and bonus obj's), I'm only missing one Force Combo, so I certainly hope nobody winds up struggling for the holocron only to realize they don't have the combo needed.

just to warn you on imperial felucia (level 7)

On the last section I had all the holocrons I needed. I got spit out, and I believe this is when I changed my costume...I grabbed the 14th holocorn, and ran around. I died to the cheap combo of those blue monster guys, and when my game reloaded, I was missing a holocron! I have noticed before on another level when I changed my costume, after getting it from a holocron, it took it away after I died, and it was there again when i reloaded. So be very careful never to change your costume! it sucked

1. In the first room you start in, jump up on the large boxes to reach the walkways where there are snipers. At the back is the first Holocron which grants you Power Crystal Katak.

2. On the opposite side to the first on the upper walkways there is another which grants you 10,000 Force points.

1. In the first room where you start, directly to your left in the corner, there is a lift that you can jump on to ride to the walkway that the snipers are on. This one gives you 10,000 Force Points.

2. Follow the walkway round and kill the snipers and in the oppososite alcove there's a Holocron for Power Crystal Katak.

Tip on getting

the #11

11. You'll then enter a chamber with a Holocron floating in mid air, in the middle. You'll need to double jump and then dash to reach this and dash boost. This is the action on the controller you need. Hold Forward A, A, LB,B (the added B gives you a bit more forward dash in midair) If you fall down into the middle you'll not be able to grab this again and the game saves and does not allow you to return here again unless you restart the entire mission. If you fail just quit the game and reload last checkpoint. This grants you 10,000 Force Points

LEVEL 7 - IMPERIAL FELUCIA - /15

I have been sitting here for the past hour trying it over and over again, I played it safe and saved it right before the jump and as soon as I missed it, I hit the start button and exited the game and just hit continue.

so thanks a million.

6. After collecting 5. you'll walk through some upper tunnels to reach the other Holocron that you couldnt reach earlier. This grants you a Force Power Sphere.

Directly opposite here you'll see a Sith Holocron which if you can jump up grants you ???

this sith holocron gives you invincibility. you get it by jumping to it from the holocron on the mushrooms up top

to get this jump from the holocron on the mushrooms just after the metal bridge once you get up to the top the hanging bendy mushroom branches can be used to walk on so just jump up on to the slightly blue tinted one walk along it towards to the sith holocron then double jump dash to it and youll hit it as you fall down.. you can get it after you have dropped down tough so just use the mushrooms on the wall jus where you droped down to work your way back up i have photos of it if needed.

This Sith Holocron mentioned can be accessed by jumping a bit right while still on the platform #4 is located on. There is a plant that reaches forward, which you can stand on [its between two branches]. Jump across from here and you'll claim the invincibility.

im having the exact same problem, iv got a funny feeling that it could be inside one of the wookie cages because the guide was VERY vague at that point as there were 4 cages at the bit stated, also with the sniper treehouses, it may be in one of those because again the guide was rather vague :(

Something strange is happening to me. I have every Holocron up to the Death Star, and I am certain I've gotten every one in the Death Star. But no Achievement.

When I play the Death Star level, in the Bonus Objectives, it says 0 Force Points, and 0 Holocrons (I have gotten Holocrons), and where it is supposed to have a Bonus Objective listed, it just says "Default Text".

It's weird, and has made all my effort in vain.

just wanted to point out that on level seven, that holocron thats in the tunnel that you can't seem to reach, but can grab after the AT-ST fight? Its number 6 I believe..you CAN grab that holocron before it. Theres one of those plants with the exploding bulbs by it. Jump in the middle of it (( may take a couple tries)) and from there do a double jump and a dash towards the tunnel to land inside, collecting your holocron.

The Freakquency Theory

ALSO! the sith holocron in level 7 that you can't seem to reach, also around holocrons 5-6 ...its a bitch to get, but it can be done! what you need to do is kind of glitch the game, not really.. its obvious your suppose to use the mushrooms to reach it, but if you just try to jump on them you'll slide off. Instead, force dash into the wall their on, and start mashing the attack button like mad. You should land and stay on the shroom. quickly jump and do the same thing until you reach the third shroom with the sith holocron. It grants invincibility.

[quote=Wreckon Dracgon;1158361]While I'm sure Shadowmask appreciates the gratitude it's not necessary to make a post saying "Awesome guide for a game I've not played" which is what you just stated.

How do you know the guide is awesome? Sure he has found all of the Holocrons so it would lead you to believe he knows what he is saying... but that's not the point. The point is there is no reason to post saying thanks, awesome guide, and surely no reason to do so if you haven't even used the guide."

This has got to be the most ridiculous post by a moderator i've ever seen. God forbid someone say "Good job" to someone else. What is your PROBLEM? Someone should put some kind of age requirement to be doing your job, cause you clearly wouldn't meet that requirement judging by your post. Grow up pal, the guy was giving a friendly compliment. Go ahead and close the post, loser. You should be fired, and should not be allowed to represent Microsoft, Xbox, Achievments, or anything else professionally associated with any online gaming community.

By the way, Shadowmaskm, GREAT GUIDE! I TRULY enjoyed this guide. I, in fact, DID play this game, and found the guide EXTREMELY helpful. I APPRECIATE all of your HARD work in giving it to us.........................................Don't blame Wreckless Dragon, or whatever his name is, for being EMO. When someone is put in a position of authority, percentages show they often time abuse it.

SIGH!!

i missed 1holo on Imerial Kashyyyk, 1 on Imperial Felucia, 2 on Death Star. i changed my costume once and lightsaber colors several(4-5) times over the course of playing... only died if i fell off of a cliff.

i went back collected the holo and went to the next autosave and "level selected to the next lvl(Imp Felucia) and did the same here, i hav the glitch on Death Star "Default text" which i noticed the very 1st play thru of the lvl...BUT my stats for force points were there and my 13/15 holo was there, i changed into the black lightsaber and b4 fighting the 5 guards i checked again and NO force points and 0/15 holo...............??????????? i finished the lvl on "good" to make sure if u had to finish the lvl or not, no ach for holo,...

so DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING DURING THE GAME sucks, but until they fix it, its the only way for the ach to not glitch...

SIGH!!

Wait for large piece on the rail to slide back, then you can go up there and grab it. Do it quick because it slides back. Also, I experienced a glitch where the game didn't give me credit for one of the holocrons. I had to play through again to get it.

Thank you for the guide...one of the easiest to follow I've used.

One suggestion - for the level 9 holocrons, #13 suggest you note that this is in a corner on the _right side_ (playing through on sith lord, I was trying hard not to die while looking for it!) and #14 I fell down a number of times before I figured out that the spot to jump needed to be close to the holocron (if you try walking up the beam by jumping up on the right side, you slide down the steep part of the beam.

Again, great job, and much appreciated!!

Finally, 1000/1000 on Star Wars: TFU.

Good guide, appreciate the cut n paste from other sites, I can't be bothered trawling the net for answers all over so thanks.

The tip above is excellent advice, after 3 or 4 attempts previous, tried the one above, bang, first time got it :)

Thanks for the guide. The holocron in the 8th level in that one pathway far across two pathways (11 or 12) was the hardest one for me. But I managed to get it anyway. Having some of them already kinda threw me off with my hunt, but luckily I got them all.

I just barely noticed the video guides too. Possibly linking the guy's youtube profile would help for future holocron hunters.

Thanks again either way. One step closer towards achieving my first complete 1000 game XD

LEVEL 7 - IMPERIAL FELUCIA - /15

6. After collecting 5. you'll walk through some upper tunnels to reach the other Holocron that you couldnt reach earlier. This grants you a Force Power Sphere.

Directly opposite here you'll see a Sith Holocron which if you can jump up grants you ???

This Sith Holocron grants you Invincibility. You can get to it by jumping on the tree stump that looks like it is covered in fungus. From there you can double jump onto the closest hanging blue flower (you'll want to try to land near the stem). From there, get your bearings and you can easily double jump dash to get the Sith Holocron.

Not sure if anyone else has done this, but thought I'd share.

8. Once you enter the private quarters (rogues gallery) where there is a caged beast, you'll see another Holocron above some large horns. This grants you 10,000 Force points.

You can't miss this Holocron on the right side of the room; I simply wanted to point out that if you enter the blue glowing doors (which are on the left of the room) before grabbing this Holocron, it starts a cut scene with Lea and you can't go back to get the Holocron. I made this mistake and had to Quit / Restart from the last Checkpoint.

in imperial felucia after holocron 6 there is reference to a sith holochron. the best way to get it is after 4 continue jumping up into the branches and then do a double jump dash across to sith holochron. it is an invincibility.

4. In the room with the escape pods. It's under the walkway and Grants you a force Power Sphere. - this may be trigger once you push the escape pods out of the way with Lightning...I'm not sure???

Firstly, great guide. Proving really useful as I clear those last few blasted holocrons for the holocron collector achievement. Just thought I'd point out that the Force Power Sphere is revealed once you use force lightning on the last escape pod at the end of the room.

Just a note on Holocron #11 in Imperial Felucia...in order to reach this sphere, you MUST HAVE PURCHASED the Dashing Blast force combo, otherwise you cannot reach this holocron.

That's probably worth noting in the guide, just in case. Playing through my first time on Sith Lord (and netting all the holocrons and bonus obj's), I'm only missing one Force Combo, so I certainly hope nobody winds up struggling for the holocron only to realize they don't have the combo needed.

well mate there was at least 1 person and thats me...would of saved me half an hour if it was in the quide.
good post mate and it gets my vote to be added to the quide.

In Imperial Felucia when you're trying to get the Holocron drifting in mid air above its gullet, rather than backing out and totally reloading the game, you can just pause in mid-fall, change costumes, and it will reset you to the entrance of the Sarlacc's innards. Maybe this will help someone, idk. :D

You know, I really don't feel like searching through all the pages, but uhhh, the all costumes cheat, that will kill your holocron achievement. The second holocron in imperial kashyyyk is Kento's Robe.

I know there was an advisory somewhere that the all lightsaber crystal cheat would kill the same achievement, so I didn't touch that. But, nobody had picked up on this one yet.

Guess who's gotta start all over?

[EDIT] Oh, and the Sith Robe in Raxus Prime.

[EDIT 2] I saw another post saying someone got all 15/15 in Imperial Kashyyyk, but it only registering as 14/15. I just beat that level on Apprentice, and I did get the second holocron (Kento's Robe), but the game only registers as 14. However, it did give me the notification that I earned all 15.

[EDIT 3] Just beat the game, all holocrons collected (I made damned sure I had all in the level, saved, then jumped to the next one), and still no goddamned achievement. Imperial Kashyyyk is still registering as 14/15, and the Kento Robe holocron isn't there/collected. WTF?

You should just use Youtube. Not only do you get the location, but the video itself will show the entire environment and surrounding area, therefore making it very easy for players to know the location.

LEVEL 7 - IMPERIAL FELUCIA - 15/15

Directly opposite here you'll see a Sith Holocron which if you can jump up grants you ???

7. Once you enter the next open area (after destroying the 2nd AT-ST) you'll see an imperial crane with a Holocron on top. simply jump up to reach it. This grants you a Power Crystal Vexxtal.

Just thought I'd note, this Sith Holocron gives Invincibility. You reach it by using the A,A,LB from the Jedi Holocron it's a cross from, just have to double jump to the branch that's in front of you first.

Standing on the top lift platform, use Force Grip to move a ring onto the platform between you and the rail. As long as you're careful and don't tip the ring, you can easily do a double-jump onto it, then hop up on the rail.

The answer to this is an invincibility holocron, easiest way to reach it is to stack two or three exploding flower pods on top of each other then double jump to the second fungus on the wall, it's time consuming and not really necessary, but if you ever wondered, there it is and i hope it helps

Invincibility

When you jump on the fungal growths on the tree to get the Holocron if you jump up to the tree branch and do the :abut::abut::lbbut::bbut: combo you can get it. I would advise doing so after you have defeated the troopers but before the AT/CT.

It might be worth mentioning that you can't exit a mission after you've collected all the holocrons (like if you missed some on the first pass). Completing the holocron bonus objective doesn't trigger autosave, so you need to continue playing through until it says "Saving..." across the screen or you will lose the holocrons you just got and have to do it again. Let's just say it took me getting my last holocron in the game, and not getting the achievement, to realize I had to play through every single stage AGAIN because none of them were saved.

Just picked this game up again...going to ask a few questions that I know have been answered somewhere---but I do not feel like fumbling through post after post. You will tell me what im looking for, Jedi scum.

I know there is a problem with the 'default text' thing, has that been patched? Can I change outfits/saber stuff during gameplay that won't effect Holocrons from not saving (or whatever the issue was)?
Just finished FUII and I assume I can, but want to ask anyway: Can I replay levels after completing the game to find Holocrons I missed?

Think it is still glitched. got all 15 on Imperial kashyyyk, yet the count still says 14/15.
I'm 100% sure I got all 15. and I heard about the glitch with Kento's Robe holocron - so I restarted the level but it didn't reappear. I've done all other levels and all other holocrons.
So what can I do?
has anyone else encountered similar probs. I thought they patched this shit!
is there a way I can avoid having to wipe all the force unleashed data and having to start from scratch....

I am having the same problem on the Tie fighter level. Have gone through twice (on different playthroughs, not the same ones) and both times have used this guide, got all 15 but only 14 showed up. Frustrating as hell!!! :uzi:

how the f$%k do I get the holocron from the second sniper position on kashyyk!?! I heard "just jump up", and "double jump dash from the wookie cage with the holocron in it". Not helpful.

I tried moving a rock under it, tried moving a wookie next to the laser shield under it... HELP!!!

I actually just picked up that holocron last night. Took me about 10 mins to figure out but i had to move one of the big rocks you pass earlier to the second sniper spot and i had to play with the position of the rock on the ground until there was a large enough spot on top of the rock that i could stand on. Then just do an easy double jump. The trick was the rock though and getting it positioned correctly. Just play with the positing as its just trial and error until you get it. Hope that helps and good luck.

There should be a warning for the 6th one on level 2 are you freaking serious. If you even go slightly past that area the game immediately pushes you into a new section where you cantr backtrack and saves. Great I get to play the entire freaking level again now.
