Currently my internet connection sucks (Verizon DSL FTL!!) and with the slow speeds I generally don't download larger files in one sitting, and I noticed that last night when I shut my Xbox off the Tiger Woods 2009 demo was at 44% complete but this morning when I began to download it again I was only at 34%. Is this just standard when you resume a download? Sorry for the dumb question it's just curious to me that I lost 10% :(

The counter starts again from 0% BUT.. it should go from 0%-44% (where you left it off) quite quickly after it checks the temporary files on the xbox360 and should resume off where it was.

You can also set your xbox to continue downloading stuff even after you've turned it off so it can download overnight. I use that and it works pretty well.

Same, it is one of the best features on the 360 I think. :)

Alright, I've downloaded demos before over night - ususally I queue up about 4 so that it's not just on for 6 or 7 hours after I fall asleep.

If you do the thing where you set it up so it downloads when its off the console doesn't suck up power and the such for those 6-7 hours. Its just a background download kinda thing, and its actually silent.
