You will need a Data Transfer Kit, you can call MS and ask them to send you one ( will take a while) or get one off a friend or Ebay. :)

i just went on xbox.com searched data migration cable and you have to fill out a form to get one sent out to you.It takes 10days atleast that way, or as above get it from ebay but doubt itl be free like it is from xbox but having a 120gb hard drive is a must have nowadays.

I'm sure I got one with my 120GB HDD. It's the cable with the grey box on the end of it, is it not?

The cable definitely comes with the 120gb hard drive.

Indeed it does. I for some reason was thinking he was getting an Elite, where you do not get the Data Transfer Kit.

BIG QUESTION

Do you have to have two 360s or is it built so that you can just use one 360.

No you dont need two 360s. As far as I know, it powers both HDDs at once for the transfer.

Well does anyone know where at on MS is the form that you fill out to get this cable.

I might buy a 120GB next month seeing as we will be able to put games on our HDDs after the update finally hits.

EDIT:

I found it

If anyone needs it you can go here:

I definitely need more space! I got the 20 gig version when it dropped in price a year ago. Now, the 60 gigs are $50 cheaper. Oh well, that is what happens and I'm not complaining as I have been loving my 360 for the past year.

I think what I should do is get an elite though as I can get hdmi with it, now that I finally have an hdtv!

Yeah I'm considering getting a 120GB hardrive as well and from what I can tell by looking at the ones down at jb hi fi, the cable is bundled up with the hd.
