I'm going to be honest, it was actually rather lousy haha. Was at work for 6hrs, came home to find out my car needs a new gearbox so that will be a pricey job. I did go out with family yesterday though which was good, will celebrate later this weekend with friends. =D
Oz is one of those things people knew about in the late 90's, it was a cult hit...but didn't take off like Game of Thrones/The Sopranos with the general population. It hasn't been released on Blu-Ray, only DVDs...and they didn't start getting subtitles until like the 3rd season. However, all of Oz is on Amazon Prime right now so worth checking out.
It's mainly just blu-rays for me, some only skip a few times...Django skipped many times.
True Blood is the most mature due to the content. There's plenty of Supernatural shows that show beheadings, gore and a lot of stuff...but True Blood has large amounts of nudity, sex, same sex-sex...blood, blood and more blood...people literally explode into grotesque blood piles. There's cussing...but otherwise, the content is generally what you would find in something like The Vampire Diaries. Which is also good, highly recommend.
A friend has been bombarding me with the need for me to watch Oz, now that I am...I'm into it. It's HBO's FIRST big series...at least that's the way he puts it. The first "edgy" one. Curse words, racial slurs, nudity...
So you rent from the Library too eh? Neato =) of course Netflix is also a nice option if available...I've been picking up movies there a lot lately (Psycho being one of them). Unfortunately, they don't clean the discs...so skipping keeps happening on certain films (completely ruined DJango Unchained watching so I had to go and rent one from a local video store).
Yes supernatural series are quite interesting. Soooo many options...but probably the most mature is True Blood. Sure there's blood and guts in Supernatural and other shows but...True Blood is the most mature.
One of my cats is trying to prove that exact point at the moment. She's been sat in a box almost constantly over the last 2 days, only moving to get water, food and go on the litter box. It's run there, eat or drink, then run back before another cat steals it. Quite funny to watch.
Haha! If you do, I'll take responsibility for sewing the seeds by doing it on my own page. Glad you liked them. We should make it our mission to collect every cute animal picture between our two profiles: The "Awww" Chronicles.
If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend Hannibal on NBC. One of the best shows I have ever watched and like Bates Motel, will be entering its 3rd season next year. I got some movies to watch that I rented from the Library but I also have to catch up on Teen Wolf (if you've watched Arrow, Colton Hayes who plays Roy Harper was on this show for the first 2 seasons), The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Desperate Housewives...go through and rewatch all of Buffy/Angel...I'm pretty much a huge Drama/Supernatural fan. Love the myths and creatures...Supernatural itself is pretty badass, with the main characters (one of which I mentioned as an avatar, Dean Winchester) being two Monster Hunting brothers that fight with Demons from time to time.
LOST is...hit and miss ._. it definitely lives up to the name "LOST" because trying to jump in anywhere but the beginning tends to leave the viewer a bit confused. Granted, like any program, you can pick up from any point and just stick it out from there...you'll learn who the characters are but obviously miss plot details that occurred in previous episodes/seasons. It drops off a bit on the final season...but it has a great ending (IMO).
Yes I swore he wore eyeliner myself but he just has really thick eyelashes. Anything he's in I enjoy his characters, Romero in particular has me intrigued so when I finally view the 2nd season of Bates Motel can't wait to see where he's heading. I did notice some cast pictures of Dylan's actor having a beard .__.; I hope that isn't around during the second season, cause he's definitely a clean shaven to stubble kind of guy...not a big grizzly beard lmao.
Ah yes Romero, love his actor. Really enjoyed him as Richard on LOST and I've seen him in a few roles (even if they're for a couple episodes) on other networks. It's those eyes...in particular, he actually reminds me of the original Norman Bates lol.
Yeah I should get to watching Season 2 but I already have a mountain of backlog to get through =P sooo many shows and movies to watch. I've cut out gaming just to tackle it all and it's been a slow climb even then ;_;
