I haven't bought an Xbone yet, there are still 360 games I wan't to play, but on March the 20th, I'll be buying one, I've pre-ordered Type-0, lol. The game is supposed be one of the best FF's in years, plus I want to try that FF15 demo.
I need to to try and play as many 360 games before that date. I really want to play Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon again, I'm thinking of picking up Magna Carter 2, Last remnant and Infinite Undiscovery.
At this moment in time, I haven't got any JRPG's to play, I'm playing Bioshock and DMC.
Forgot to mention that I recently completed a game called Remember Me, I'm not sure if you'd like or not, but I'd recommend it if you want to try something different.
Lightning Returns was pretty decent, I actually liked it a lot more than thought I would. I did hate it for the first 4 hours or so, the timer annoyed me. I like to take my time and explore every inch of JRPG's, but I adapted to the gameplay and abused the fuck out of Chronostasis. In fact, I completed 63 side quests, 70 Canvas of Prayers, all the main quests and made about 25 species of monsters extinct in 4 days! I had to sleep through the rest of the game. The garb system was okay, but I used the same 3 garbs for 95% of the game, only had to change them for the Areonite and Erishkigal fights. Atermis's Arrow spamming for the win, lol. The ending was pretty good, it was happy, and it was good to get closure for the characters (especially Serah, Noel and Yeul), but the after credits scene was ridiculous, it doesn't really make any sense.
If I buy it, yeah man, zombie bro's for life! (Plus you can tell me about Craig's recent shenanigans, lol)
Okay, FF13 had the best story, the game play was boring until you get to Gran Pulse, but I really did like it from that point onwards. I'm one of the few people that actually liked Vanille, her and Sazh were my favourite characters.
FF13-2 had better gameplay, but the locations were kind of boring, the story was kind of dumb and ending was terrible. Serah did become my favourite FF13 character, though, and I still think that now. As you can imagine, the ending pissed me off.
