You'd be surprised how many people come to visit this city or live in this city on holidays, this past 4th of July I swear I saw maybe 10-20,000 people in the downtown area alone. Outside of Owensboro though it's all rural, farms everywhere and going out towards where the girl lived even more country. Lots of accents...me? Eh, I never really picked up a southerner accent and...heh, I actually made a video talking to the people in the Random Thought Thread (Take 2). I'll send you that in PM lol.
(Alright, that should be easier to get through lol...but I already know it's going to be quite a few VMs again. 11 again! Oh man x.x).
That sounds pretty nice haha. I was born in Texas and it's pretty sunny/hot out there .__.; but I moved to Alabama when I was like 7. Great weather, very rarely snowed and quite a bit of trees at a few of the locations I lived...but it also got muggy as hell after rain. I hate humidity, ughhh and the smell that comes with it. Kentucky doesn't feel too much different from Alabama during the summer but then there are the cold months...snow. I lived in Ohio for about 2 years awhile back and the snow there, damn...being stuck at my Grandma's where she had no real heater so you'd have to be bundled up the entire dang time was NO FUN. As for Kentucky here, well I'm in a city and it's pretty suburban. Nothing really fancy, you have all the typical big brand stores about (2 Walmarts, a Target, Best Buy, big movie theater, etc.)...a dinky little mall and a lot of fast food/restaurants. Oh plenty of hotels too, because this place becomes packed for one of two festivals held each year.
See you say that and I might just get in my car to drive up to Michigan today! Haha ;P I like to drive, I enjoy the travel so heading up there would be no bother. Just...I don't have enough money to handle Gas + getting some awesome Japanese stuff while I'm up there. I've driven a ways to check out game stores in the past, so it's no problem for me ;>_> I tend to think of them as adventures. Finding old games at a store rather than buying them online is so much more fulfilling...and usually cheaper. Usually.
That's the thing about me buying movies though, if it's on TV I can get sucked into it but if I own the movies I typically don't ever pop them in unless someone else wants to watch them. Still I like for them to be in the collection. And yeah, I avoid taking Gerard to any scary movies or something that he'd probably not enjoy. It's mainly cartoon/animated and superhero movies with him!
I used to be a perfectionist or rather a completionist myself. I'd try to avoid starting games I knew I couldn't finish or had glitched achievements, but I struggled to get my completion ratio on TrueAchievements above 79%. Eventually I gave up on all that after I hit 100K, achievement hunting became too taxing on my mind and time. Online boosting for hours to even hundreds of hours just for one achievement...I couldn't do that anymore. I'd still like to complete some games in the future but I can't go at it as actively as I used to...I don't know, maybe if someone pushed me for it I could. That'd have to be a special someone .__.; and I'm not sure how many girls out there'd want me achievement hunting haha.
Wow Spyro was your first? Haha to think what mine was...uuuh let's see. Either Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario Bros. My sisters owned all the consoles up until I got my N64, so I'd play their stuff. Maybe a few Sega/NES/SNES games were bought for me...but my first jump to 3D from those sidescrollers left me sick X_X; I threw up because I got so dizzy being in a 3D world. I finally got over that motion sickness and the game to cause this - Super Mario 64. Loved that thing. Probably the first game to promote me collecting stuff (Power Stars). I loved collectathons back in the day...but nowadays, I don't like doing it so much ;>_> mainly due to the game where it's involved. Example being GTA or other sandbox games, FPS where you have to search for some random object among the chaos...I just like Platformer-collectibles, those I enjoy getting.
Nah seriously I may have downplayed texting awhile back but...I actually do like doing it. I am so indecisive haha. My preference is a keyboard like you but I don't mind getting on the phone, texting up a storm if need be. Hell I do it during work ;>_> when I'm out and about...keeps me entertained haha. I need more texting buddies though!!! >__<
Wiki editing is a great way to pass the time and also provide information for the community on your favorite series. I specialized in character articles, making articles for characters who didn't have them or enhancing those that were pretty small in detail. Basically, I turned something about 100 characters into 10,000+ at a time, with 10 or more characters daily. Eh eventually I grew out of it, my interests in other things picked up such as TV shows and gaming so I left it behind. Just haven't felt the need to go back. As for the Pizza and Cookie thing, I've got two slices left from both X_X; I just ate 2 from the Pizza...mmm.
