I got the one in Snowspire on my third or fourth try, but that was only because I was so mad at how unfair the one in Oakvale was (I fucking murdered that gamemaster after I got that one). I did find the slow time trick helpful. I was also able to basically max my character out after I did the combat evolved trick you put in your guide but I held it down for like 10 minutes. Then I got a combat multiplier of like 250, so then I chugged all my Ages Of potions and got so much xp I nearly choked on it.
I like the game, despite its prominent issues like the combat and the annoying quest tracking/map approaches. It's not that great of a game to be honest, but it has this certain laid back feel to it that I like, but it's hard to put my finger on.
Also, how do I track which books I have left to give to the guy for that quest?
Even though I got that achievement (only need the 30 silver keys, books, legendary weapons, and to die), the one in Oakvale had me POOLING in sweat and rage. The card pairs game did too, until I got an idea to draw out a 4x4 and use the guide button to pause (even though I still only finished with .2 seconds left). I did not like any of those mini-games.
Okay. I have the week off and I'm going to stick to the guide like glue. I want to abuse GameStop's return policy to return it and get Shadow of Mordor for 360. And that is something I know I can't do in a week so I'll complete that and Splinter Cell: Conviction to get a bunch of awards at once!
Also, great work on the guide! Looking through it there is a remarkable amount of detail. No need to go to TA for me!
Good luck with your papers due by next Friday!! At least once you're done with that, you can relax for a week, that sounds really nice! That was too funny that you didn't actually come up with the games for your Staff Club though, lol! It's not a bad idea, maybe I should ask for suggestions on what I should pick too. I have a general idea on my Sub Club, but I'm still not 100% sure. I thought it would be really fun and easy to throw a Club up, but now it's been live for what, a week or more? And I still can't decide lol! According to TA, I have just hit 85 completed games total, after finishing up Metro Last Light Redux. But trying to go through them and putting a couple together with a "theme" for the Club is making me go Ugghhhhhh, lol. I'll see what I come up with. Sorry to hear you won't be making a Sub Club, but it's all good since you already have a (Staff) Club anyway though!
I hope you're feeling better now, I don't think I've ever had laryngitis but it sounds horrible! That must have been very hard in class since you usually have to speak and interact when called upon by the Instructor. Hopefully they saw you weren't feeling well and gave you a little break. Any word on the French paper yet? I think that's kind of cool she's waiting to grade it until you "fix a few things," hmmm I wish I was given that opportunity when I was in college a few times lol. Maybe that's a good sign! That last tea that I was about to try the last time I wrote you, I did have some and oh my gosh, it's one of my Top 5 favorites out of all the samples I ordered! It is a Rooibos tea called Cape Town Chai, it's made with Rooibos, cinammon, ginger root, and cardamom. I thought it might be a little weird, but I've been drinking about 2 cups of it a day for the last 4-5 days lol. I just add a little Stevia to sweeten it just a bit, and it's yummy!
