After your giddyness last night I believe you. But whereas you can prep for the tourney in a couple days' time, you still have today to get those Spotlight points. What do you even have left, Halo 4 misc/scores/times and Promethean kills? You can knock those out in 4-5 hours at the most.
As for the routes, it's not surprise the routes gets better as you go up a chapter.
Chapter 2 got me teary eyed, but that was before the boring Tsubaki route, so it doesn't count. Great chapter anway
Kanon's route in chapter 3 made me shed tears of happiness towards the end, it was just perfect. Not really a big fan of the true route
Mizuha's route in chapter 4 is the better side route compared to the previous 2, but I wasn't as emotionally invested as Kanon's route. Great route nonetheless, but it totally paled in comparison to the true route ending of chapter 4.
In the end I couldn't follow your advice, the inner completionist in me got the better of me. No regrets there. Now what's left for me to do is finish Tsubaki's bad end
I guess Kyousuke was just a horndog after all during those H-scenes. I was under the impression that he was already totally in love prior to those scenes, which made it feel unnatural. His realization just came later (I was looking for that prior the first H-scene ) That explains everything now
Finally understand Maou and his motivations. He's a pretty darn good villain, who remained a true villain throughout the end. Just love the scene when he tried to trick Kyousuke in to believing that he would die after freeing their father
The epilogue was pretty strong, and I'm satisfied with the timeskip ending.
It was definitely a troll moment.
There were some hints that Maou and Kyousuke were different people ( ie Maou not being able to know what Kyousuke knows. It was said early in the VN that Maou knew way too much of what only a few people in the organization would know, so you'd normally assume that Maou is somewhat conscious even when Kyousuke is in control ), but the obvious hints that Maou and Kyousuke were the same far outweighed that xD
Just finished 2nd H-scene with Haru (finally no more distraction)
Haven't seen what makes ch5 awesome yet, but i'll get to it quick.
Wasn't talking about their romance in general, I was specifically talking about what led up to their first sex , which was kind of unnatural to me. Just felt like Kyousuke lost his reasoning and just became a horndog just for the sake of being one. His realization that he loves Haru felt sudden. Heck, to be honest, I didn't see any of that realization at all.
Sure, there were flashbacks when he was a child, but I didn't really feel it was enough.
Yeah, but even if he didn't try to save Kyousuke, why go out of the damn car knowing he'll get killed on the spot? he did debate it, but it's still very left field? were we supposed to feel sympathy on that dude?
Then there's the Kyouhei reveal, which I don't really know what to think of. It kind of came out of the left field , but at the same time it didn't.
I can't quite grasp his full motivation, surely there were some better alternatives. BUT there's really no point on trying to understand him, simply because I haven't finished the game yet.
For now, I prefer ch4 than ch5, but I haven't reached the climax of ch5 yet, so it should eventually redeem itself
I've only listed the negative stuff ; no need to elaborate on the good stuff because we both know how good the game is xD
The VN has been very consistent to me, so it just bothers me when there's some things that feels off, especially when when I'm at the final chapter
Gonzou protecting Kyousuke , which feels very out of character to me. The dude's been douchebag throughout the entire game, so to see him do that....
The rekindling romance between Haru and Kyousuke in a kind of unnatural way. I like the pairing, but it feels that the romance prior to the first H-scene just doesn't feel it was handled as well as the other characters'
