I didn't get MVP that match (I got MVP3, my friends who were firing all the shots took top honors), but when you end a match with that kind of accomplishment it doesn't matter what your place on the scoreboard is.
My new goal is to get the Laser Designator ribbon and I'd like to do it almost entirely with the tank. I don't play Recon much, so I don't often bust out the SOFLAM, but that third seat is quickly becoming my favorite place to be in a tank... odd as that sounds.
I got 3500 points without getting a single kill tonight. Rush, Kharg Island, Defenders, game made it to the third set of bases before we ended it. Being a Tank Commander with 2 other well-equipped people in your tank is awesome
EDIT: Forgot to mention I didn't die at all while acquiring said 3500 points.
I def think the vest thing is dumb. pretty much bringing Juggs back to an extent. I will say this. IW games run VERY smooth and play better and treyarch is more fair and fun. that my opinion though. wish they would both get together and make one game
I didn't get back into the swing of things with Battlefield until BC2 (before that most of what I had played was 1942, and then 1943 right before BC2 came out), so I missed out on BC1. I played it a little bit over the summer for the campaign, but didn't spend much time playing the multiplayer because I would rather play BC2. I don't have that many achievements left for it either, but as you said, they're all the time consuming ones.
Hey, no problem. I just figured I'd offer. Congrats on the 100%, it's definitely a good feeling on a game like BC2, especially since it's a game you really like. I very rarely go for 100% anymore either (like you), but games that I really enjoy playing (like Battlefield) are worth that extra effort. Even the first two Modern Warfare games couldn't get me to do that, and I thought I liked them a lot
"Now I work Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm and do whatever I want to on the weekends! Joy of joys!"
As of this coming week I will be the same! I was working 2 jobs, but found a way to become full-time at the one I liked more so I'm finishing up at the old job tonight. I can't wait to see what it's like to have weekends again! I haven't had free weekends in like 3 years.
