That's pretty helpful that they share the same forum, that way people aren't "alienated" in terms of discussing the games across different platforms.

Hmm, weird. I'm using Safari myself so that feature doesn't work. Yeah, only some games do. If you search Halo: Spartan Assault, it lists all four games without platforms.

Hmm, yeah I just tried that myself. But wait, what's the difference then? Cross-gen games share the same forum then?

I don't like the way it's set up here :/ It doesn't differentiate between platforms! I might bring this up in the FAQ thread now, lol.

I've noticed myself the 360 forum for a lot of these cross-gen games are dead, which is puzzling as I didn't expect many people to upgrade to the new console yet. Unless, they're just playing it on the 360 and using the X1 forum due to it's activity!

No problem. Eager to see your finished product! Just make sure you're posting it in the right forum since I notice you're in the game's Xbox One forum all the time

I just started mine today too

Yeah, what I said was kinda confusing in retrospect. Basically, just don't do it like this:

    "Step 1: Main Mission

In the main mission, you will unlock the following achievements[*]A[*]B[*]C"

Instead, do what Skyrim does, and what I did for my Roadmap this morning:

    "Step 1: Main Mission

While playing the main mission of the game, you will naturally unlock "Blah" for completing the entire mission. Also take note that you can obtain "Blah" for rescuing "Chico" and "Blah" for rescuing a prisoner.

Let me know if that makes sense Basically, Skyrim's is a better one to follow.

Hmm, as far as PowerPyx goes, he usually does separate videos for each achievement for the sake of getting content out quick. You'd probably have to snoop around YouTube and find someone that dedicated to the game who would stack the achievements like that

But about S-rankings: it's mainly just finishing in a quick time without kills and alerts? People made a big stink of the S-ranking achievements in Ground Zeroes when the list landed back when.

Yeah, that site is the best for prepping a guide, I love it! Ahh, alright, makes sense to me. I thought the next Deus Ex game was a mobile game, though?

Just take note that if you work on the guide, to either wait until two or three days to post it, or if you post it early, to put the [WiP] tag in the thread title to note it's a "work in progress," (you can always have it removed in the Sticky Request Thread. But yeah, people go NUTS when an incomplete guide is posted and they act very childish about it.

THEN, as far as videos go, I usually contact PowerPyx weeks before and ask him if he would be willing to work with me on the guide in terms of video content. He usually gets games early for reviewing purposes, so he's a great help in getting videos out really fast.

I do have a question! Are you getting this game on the Xbox One, that is, assuming you have purchased the console already? I was planning on writing the X1 guide for it, assuming from when you last mentioned interest in writing the guide, it would be for the Xbox 360. Do let me know, because I'm grabbing the game on release day and will be working hard on the guide that week. Would be neat if we had the notion of falling back to PMs on collaboration in case any of us are stuck with a certain achievement and how to write about it.

To get my guide template for the game once the achievements for that game have gone public. Then, I will begin to flesh out the Roadmap with information that seems obvious from the achievement's descriptions, any videos of early gameplay on the web, or other basic info. Also remember when making a Roadmap, NOT to list achievements in each section. The Guide Team hated when I did that at first, lol. Refer to Skyrim or GTA V, as those are exemplary Roadmaps. Try to be as succinct as possible, while giving a nod to which achievements can be unlocked where and a short sentence how.

Sup, Lemons. Sorry for the massive delay, I've been on/off the site and didn't check my wall until now that I'm home from work. Yeah, I've written five or six retail guides, and they're actually not too bad at all. For the bigger games, I usually decide one month before release on whether or not I'd want to write the guide. The sooner I decide, the better. It's at that point where I will use this site:
