Yeah especially with Witcher 3 coming out, I know I'm going to get lost in that for about a month (probably not even joking lol) so that's why I'm playing my other long games now, like KoA, to get them out of the way as well. This whole Summer is going to be crazy fun with these games coming out!
Ha ha, I know, TA's scores trick me from time to time because you think you're looking at Gamerscore! Darn TA lol. Yeah I would still have to use that Wiki guide for the Moral Points in Metro if I were to play it again, because you don't have to miss too many to lose that achievement. Better safe than sorry! I know exactly what you're talking about with those really thick book Guides that they used to sell, I used to buy them too! I had several, and I still have my GTA IV one for my PS3 in a box somewhere! Gosh, I still have my old PS3 with my GTA IV game along with all of my old games, controllers and Guides in a box somewhere, come to think of it. I haven't touched it in about 10 years lol. I used to love those huge Guides, though. They helped so much with missions! No worries then about the Wolfenstein Guide, I won't be on Tuesday at all due to work, so I'll check it out Wednesday morning!
After Hitman HD, I have more appreciation for older stealth games. I was still able to have a great deal of fun with Hitman 2 and more so Contracts once I was able to adapt and get used to the mechanics, so I'll try to do that with MGS HD.
I would do SC or any other game, but those require a lot of mp boosting. I want to wait for the boosting crew to get into the game before I start those games.
If you can remember, does SC require four person boosting or can it all be done with two people?
I completed that part you're talking about. I hate that chapter. It takes forever and it ends up being boring as hell, since I kept runnin around in circles for the stairway puzzle.
I didn't realize how annoying the no detections thing actually is. I mean, I swoop by (which is insanely overpowered in and of itself), and boom. Failed. The expensive resources thing is kind of irritating too. Imagine if that was real, "140 gold or a single arrow!" THEY'D BE MURDERED.
Guides are so very important, and that's why I appreciate Guide Writers so much too! Writing a Guide is like the ultimate Good Samaritan act of gaming, it's such an act of kindness as it helps so many people. I didn't know you were writing Wolfenstein next week, YAY! I figured I would check, but I thought I was going out on a limb there lol! Oh good, that's great news then! I'm wondering now if I should wait to start it until you have the G/RM up, I might just do that then!
I have a big correction to make that I just realized I made a mistake on! It wasn't actually 39K Gamerscore in RPG that I have, apparently it's 39K in TA Score that I have lol. It just showed a points breakdown, and I didn't realize it was in TA Points, not actual Gamerscore. Sooooo... I have 25,500 in RPG games lol. So, I'm at half of my goal of 50K in RPG games, ha ha. Still not bad, but much less than I thought I had. I'd definitely appreciate some tips on those more difficult areas in DA ahead of time! Yeah it's because of missables or certain pathways or decisions you have to make to get certain endings that make Guides pretty essential, in my opinion. Look at Metro, if you don't plan ahead to get those Moral Points, you're not going to get that good ending (as I found out lol!). Or I've read in games like Dark Souls, if you attack certain NPC's, you'll never be able to 100% the game and have to start all over.
Amazon probably does! Yeah RPG's do take a while, but are also probably the most satisfying when you do complete them. I'm so happy to hear that Nightmare in Dragon Age is super doable! Whew! So there will be 3 sections that I'll have to prepare for, hmmm... I'll definitely be letting you know when I start it up to take you up on any tips you might offer, thanks Bigg! Nope, I'd rather not go into games blind whenever I can avoid it, ha ha. Using Guides and Roadmaps have kind of spoiled me in the past few years, so I love having an idea of how to start the game to make sure I don't void myself of any achievements later on. Have you given any thought to doing the new Wolfenstein Guide, by chance? I'm SO happy to revisit that gaming experience, I can't wait for that either! And I saw the new Batman trailer, I bet you're excited!! I thought of you when I saw it!
I'm going to find a big magnet and pull Dirty away from Neverwinter on Friday! Yeah RPG's have always been my favorite genre, that's why it feels so good playing KoA right now. I'll definitely do something when I hit 50K in RPG's! I had no idea it was my #1 genre on my Tag, but I'm so happy that it is! Yes, Dragon Age is up next! If I'm remembering correctly, you have to complete the game on Nightmare, right? Was it really challenging on that difficulty? You never really know with games, but in my experience of playing some games on the hardest difficulty, it seems like most of them are quite doable. I'm doing KoA right now on Hard, and haven't really had any problems so far. I'm hoping Dragon Age is the same?
