But I thought the same thing, and I think I will replay Last Light too!! I can finish that faster than 2033, it's less grinding, and I'd love to stack it. I might also do 2033 later though. It's an AMAZING game! I'm still playing the Sims 3 to finish that up, but after that, I'll re-do Last Light Redux. You should grab that soon if you plan on replaying it, I just looked at the LL Redux sign-ups, and there's only one person that signed up so far! So you can take second place and get 8 points, if you want to do that! I figure another week or two and I'll re-do Last Light. I did 3 playthroughs of that game and still wasn't tired of it, ha. Shoot, if I do that, I might as well re-do 2033 Redux as well and round it all off lol. I used to play the Sims game on my computer many years ago, too! I always liked them, and the console version is just as fun if not more so. Sims 3 is the only one I've played so far, but it's actually pretty fun.
Thanks Bigg, yes I finally completed it!! I was so happy when I realized that I got the Redemption ending!! I followed the Wiki, and I'd say I got around 80% of the moral points, and did everything else the same and it worked! I felt the same way about Last Light though, it had a different "feel" than 2033. 2033 was more tense and stressful in those tunnels sometimes and gave me a "survival horror" feel a few times. Last Light was awesome, but yeah, it was definitely more of an Action game. I guess because most of it took place above ground? I'm surprised some of the achievements for 2033 weren't in LL instead, because of how LL was more shooting and action. Like, the achievements for using all weapon types, and getting so many kills with pneumatic weapons, shotguns, revolvers, grenades, rifles, knives etc. I'm surprised, looking back, that those were all tied to 2033 lol. But regardless, I'm not complaining at all, it's more of an observation.
I really liked him even though the cheating on his wife thing really came out of nowhere. Really forced in there just to be there I guess. It didn't really make sense with his character.
I five starred my last case today. I used a 5 star guide for everything past the Quarter Moon Murders homicide case just because those cases really take a while and I didn't want I basically play the game twice just to do that.
Tomorrow I'll do street crimes, but I has to ask, if you remember, are you able to accept a street crime and then fast travel to it? Because that would save me a lot of time from all the driving everywhere.
I actually liked Phelps. I genuinely cared about him until his (avoidable) demise.
I'm just about to finish 5 starring every case and doing my $47,000 penalty tomorrow. Then I'll do the freeroam stuff with the cars/film reels, etc. Once the original 1000 is done, I'll get the rockstar pass for the game to get all DLC cases.
Up next for me is finishing GTA V. I know I've said that about 38283747 times, but I just get burned out on it after grinding constantly to level up. I'm at level 86 and I just need lvl 100 and the gold medals for the completion. I just want to finish it and move on really.
In terms of actual games, I may end up going back to Dishonored so I can finally finish that game and attempt the trials again (so I can get KitD Tier 2) or I may do Splinter Cell: Conviction. I'm focusing on free fames as I'm saving my money for an Xbox One.
It gets WAY better; don't judge it off the first few hours, as, like you said, they're slow. Once you can pick and choose your own play style, it gets much more enjoyable. FYI, if you want to get the Predator (and I highly recommend it), you must complete 4, uh... whatever the missions are called where you guard a caravan, essentially. Then it's $300,000 I think.
Fully upgraded bow
Grenade launcher (in the top slot)
Predator (unique silenced sniper)
<Insert Fourth Choice Here, Unnecessary>
My favorite approach to outposts is sniping the dudes around the exterior, then moving in a little bit and using the bow to pick off the next "layer," then alternating bow and knife kills depending on proximity and situation. Throwing knives are handy. Just my $0.02.
After Metro, gosh, I don't know! I want to finish up the Sims 3 that I started 2 or 3 years ago just to get that done. I thought about stacking Metro, but I don't know, after all of these Redux playthroughs, I'll have to see if I'm not totally burnt out lol! Then I have so many other games in the backlog... I'm kind of thinking a good RPG though! I'll keep you posted on what I decide on that, too. I have a lot of games on my tag that I started a long time ago, got less than 5 achievements, and never touched it again. So my overall completion percentage sucks because of it LOL (75%). My new plan is to do a new game (which can include one in my backlog), then pick a game from my tag and go back and finish it. So it was Metro Redux, then finish Sims 3. After Sims 3, I don't know! There's so many I want to play.
How did Halo go for you (again) with those new achievements added? Did you enjoy Sunset Overdrive? I see a lot of people playing that lately!
I know, I thought the same as you, that those moral points were fairly insignificant as long as you did those major highlights! I even saved doing those specific achievements (for saving the bear, returning the teddy bear, etc) for that last Redemption playthrough. I got all of those during that playthrough, but I didn't make any extra effort to get moral points, so I guess you really do need at least a little bit of them. I'm about to start my 3rd playthrough now and play for a couple of hours, to continue tomorrow so I'm sure that I'll be done by tomorrow night. I'll definitely let you know what happens! And oh no no... The Guide was great! Don't worry about that! You specifically say to listen to all of those conversations between both NPC's and enemies for moral points, and that's the first thing you say to do! So no, that is my fault for not doing that. But you'll be the first to know when I get the Redemption ending and that last achievement!
(cont.) Sure enough, those moral points make a ton of difference, because without those coupled with everything else, you cannot get the achievement...even if you do everything else. *SIGH* Ha ha, my own fault for rushing it though! Soooo.. this weekend I will do it all again, matching my movements to that Wiki page you linked for all the moral points I can get, along with doing everything else I mentioned again too. I'm going to do the next playthrough on Spartan, so at least that will help. I don't think doing it on Spartan will affect getting Redemption, as long as I make all the same choices and get moral points, right? I have to finish this game though, I can't leave it sitting at 97/98 achievements!
Ugh, that Spider DLC was nuts!! I didn't like it lol! It was not only creepy, but kind of hard in parts too! I died a few times at the end there, I mean 3-5 spiders is manageable but wow. There must have been 10+! So icky, they grossed me out! lol
