Thanks man! All I have left now is level 50, hacking 50 terminals, reaching max relationship level with a companion (let me know which one is easiest for the last one lol). Should be all done by tomorrow evening!
I'm not "moving on" from the game. I'm definitely going to return to the game (not just for the DLC but for the experience) but once I finish the game, I'm returning to finish my journey in Witcher 3. I may get the DLC right when I finish, but I don't know. I may start Combat Evolved on the MCC when I finish the base game of Witcher 3, however.
Ironic that we should mention Mankind Divided and then have it delayed a couple of days later.
Where are you at in the main story? I am at the quest where you have to cross this vastly irradiated sea, and I may actually finish the story mode this weekend and if not then, then definitely over the week.
I love the feeling of the gameplay being changed as you level up and select skills that are tailored to your playstyle. This is the reason I play (and love) RPGs, and this was also a HUGE reason as to why I loved Deus Ex. Speaking of which, Mankind Divided is my next big game that I'm anticipating (and I will promptly begin MCC after that!).
I bought a tommy gun from a traveling merchant called "Spray n Pray" and god damn that thing is unfair. I've abused the shit out of that infinite ammo glitch, so I have 3000+ .45 rounds for my combat rifle and that gun absolutely obliterates everything. Definitely try to get it if you can!
In the railroad storyline you'll get the "Deliverer" pistol and it looks so simple and small but it's so fun to use for a stealth character. It looks like the silverballers from the Hitman franchise, and I nodded the body to do an unfair amount of damage, and multiply it by 2.3x for sneak and I destroy everything that gets in my way.
I only go down to about ninety degrees before pushing up again, that way it's much less strenuous on your shoulders. My shoulders and chest are so dead though, LOL.
I'm having a lot of fun with it so far as well! I love the weapon crafting so much. I'm rolling with a short combat shotgun, compensated hardened sniper rifle with silencer and long scope, silenced heavy combat rifle with extended clip and medium scope, and Kellogg's pistol (just so I can slowly and sadistically kill the raiders/gunners who get in my way). I haven't really delved into settlements yet, but I have made quite a few settlements ally with the Minutemen. The game is just so good, and it's so easy to just get lost (meaning sucked in) for hours and hours without even realizing!
Damn. Have you ever tried unassisted bar dips? I can barely do three sets of six - SIX - before I'm drained. They're definitely much harder than they look. Oh well, I can only grow from here!
Also, I'm pretty sure I already know what your answer is going to be, but how are you liking Fallout 4 so far? I personally love it thus far, especially when you get a good source of Adhesive for weapon crafting.
Ohhhh wow, so it sounds like it's definitely a good possibility that she's being manipulated then - but by what?? That's a good cliffhanger for the end of the game, and a shame that it's not in the books so you really do have to wait a lonnggggg time lol! Urgh, hurry up Halo 6 now lol!
You read it back in 2006?! Oh my gosh, yes you must re-read it then! That's nearly 10 years! I don't remember any specifics at all from books I read back then lol. But that's good, because it will refresh your memory all over again and it will amplify all of the Haloverse that's in your head now from playing all of the games that have come out since your original reading of Fall of Reach! This sounds good!!
Was Cortana ever tyrannical or violent before the events in Halo 5, like in previous Halo games? If not, then yeah, sounds like she might be being manipulated! Eeeek. Is this coming straight from the books, so that if you get caught up on the books, you might be able to see a bit of what happens instead of having to wait 2-3 years for the next game? That would be ideal lol!
I will definitely let you know when I've ordered the book, and especially when I start it! I'm glad you've told me about all of this amazing lore behind the games, because otherwise I never would have known!! If it's been years since you've read the book yourself, I think a re-read is a great idea!
