After Metro, gosh, I don't know! I want to finish up the Sims 3 that I started 2 or 3 years ago just to get that done. I thought about stacking Metro, but I don't know, after all of these Redux playthroughs, I'll have to see if I'm not totally burnt out lol! Then I have so many other games in the backlog... I'm kind of thinking a good RPG though! I'll keep you posted on what I decide on that, too. I have a lot of games on my tag that I started a long time ago, got less than 5 achievements, and never touched it again. So my overall completion percentage sucks because of it LOL (75%). My new plan is to do a new game (which can include one in my backlog), then pick a game from my tag and go back and finish it. So it was Metro Redux, then finish Sims 3. After Sims 3, I don't know! There's so many I want to play.
How did Halo go for you (again) with those new achievements added? Did you enjoy Sunset Overdrive? I see a lot of people playing that lately!
I know, I thought the same as you, that those moral points were fairly insignificant as long as you did those major highlights! I even saved doing those specific achievements (for saving the bear, returning the teddy bear, etc) for that last Redemption playthrough. I got all of those during that playthrough, but I didn't make any extra effort to get moral points, so I guess you really do need at least a little bit of them. I'm about to start my 3rd playthrough now and play for a couple of hours, to continue tomorrow so I'm sure that I'll be done by tomorrow night. I'll definitely let you know what happens! And oh no no... The Guide was great! Don't worry about that! You specifically say to listen to all of those conversations between both NPC's and enemies for moral points, and that's the first thing you say to do! So no, that is my fault for not doing that. But you'll be the first to know when I get the Redemption ending and that last achievement!
(cont.) Sure enough, those moral points make a ton of difference, because without those coupled with everything else, you cannot get the achievement...even if you do everything else. *SIGH* Ha ha, my own fault for rushing it though! Soooo.. this weekend I will do it all again, matching my movements to that Wiki page you linked for all the moral points I can get, along with doing everything else I mentioned again too. I'm going to do the next playthrough on Spartan, so at least that will help. I don't think doing it on Spartan will affect getting Redemption, as long as I make all the same choices and get moral points, right? I have to finish this game though, I can't leave it sitting at 97/98 achievements!
Ugh, that Spider DLC was nuts!! I didn't like it lol! It was not only creepy, but kind of hard in parts too! I died a few times at the end there, I mean 3-5 spiders is manageable but wow. There must have been 10+! So icky, they grossed me out! lol
Ohhhh man, well guess what I did. I finished my second Last Light playthrough, got the Survival (Survivor 2034) achievement, but... no Redemption achievement! I goofed, I know what I did wrong, and I was already fearing I goofed it up about 2/3 into the game, but by then I didn't want to start over. I did everything you suggested as in returning the teddy bear in Venice, saving the women and children in Bandits, saved Lesnitsky, Pavel and the prisoners, didn't kill the surrendering enemies in those 3 levels, saved the bear from the 3 Watchmen, got all 7 visions in Dead City and didn't kill anything when with the Little Dark One. I was careful with all of that. But what I didn't do, is I admittedly didn't spend a lot of time listening to conversations to get more moral points. I was just rushing through it, I did the whole playthrough in one night, start to finish. I pretty much only heard conversations as I was crouch-walking past people.
Hey, Bigg! I just finished the Kshatriya level, and wow! That might be my favorite DLC! I loved it, it was so different and very tense all the way through! The first time I played it, I mistakenly thought it would save when I went back to the camp, not realizing you had to go through that cage door to save (I read the Guide too fast lol!). So I got about half way done and got killed, and had to start all over! It was so stressful but SO good! Once, I was within 17 seconds left on my air filters, and then, a-ha! A new entrance to the tunnels appeared and I was able to jump down. That would be a great addition to the game, and the first thing I thought of was, CO-OP! How much fun would that be to play, in a much larger scale, with other people in a team? Oh man, coolest DLC ever lol. Can't wait to see the spider level, eeeeek! I don't mind spiders, but in the game, they're super creepy lol! I'll keep you posted on that one, ha ha.
I unlocked and beat the final mission within 4 hours, and I took a lot of free time running around doing random stuff. By the time I finish up the collectibles and get gold on all the missions, it'll probably be about 8-10 hours. The challenges based achievement might take a while though.
OMG, Bigg! I just finished my first run on Last Light with C'est la vie! This was pretty much me a few minutes ago:
Hahaha, and I saw what you mean! I've been sitting here for a few minutes just soaking in everything that just happened and WOW. What a story, what a game, what an ending!! I knew exactly what you meant how the story changed when the Little Dark One came in to it. When I began 2033, I was just trying to kill them lol. Just... wow. I got goosebumps and a little teary eyed at the C'est la vie ending! I cannot wait to start my Redemption playthrough now. Doing the DLC achievements, and then starting that right away! This is a game that I cannot wait to play again!
It's what you've come to expect, although a little on the shorter end. If you like SR, it's probably worth it, but I don't think busy gamers should NEED to set time aside for it. I enjoyed my time with it, and I'll talk a little bit more about it tomorrow, although no video review until Tuesday based on my schedule.
I haven't forgotten about you either, Bigg! I was trying to wait until I got a little deeper into Last Light before I wrote you back, but I haven't been able to really play in the past couple of days. Tonight I'm heading back into Last Light and to find the Little Dark One (I think that's the next part I'm on), so I'll be back to write you soon in reference to that! Can't wait to see the part you were talking about, I'm so excited and absolutely loving this game!
hello, just wondering if the game breaking bug you experienced in styx is the same as myself, and if so if its worth mentioning in the guide. for me it was impossible to continue after completing the first five levels and the intro including all insignias, I was then unable to start the 7th mission. just curious is all. restarting the game now after 4 months. anyway thanks and take care
