OH MY GOD! My first Helping Hand nomination?! Awwwww, TDD! You didn't have to do that, I just wanted to help you! You are soooooo sweeeeeeet!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! If you were anywhere in Florida right now, I would run up to you and give you a great big hug lol!!! I'm SO HAPPY it worked for you! I was worried it was going to take a while to get it working, I'm so happy it just turned out to be the Anti-Virus program!!! Thank you so incredibly much lol, that post was so cute, "Lebanese doggian decent, father to none, mother to many, diety to all" and "The princess, queen, spiralnator" made me laugh so hard! You are really, really sweet TDD. Thanks so much, and most of all, I'm just so happy you got it working!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
Crap. Were you able to get to the part where you click on Live to connect to Windows Live? And then when it starts telling you that you must install an update (several times) and you have to keep clicking OK to install those?
(cont.) If it works, cool! If not, just quickly turn the A-V program back on lol. I was looking on some other forums and someone said they went into their GFWL security settings and disabled "two-step authentication" and they said that worked for them. It's difficult because every computer is different. I think it's just going to be a bit of trial and error before you find the thing that works for you. Wish I could be of more help! If you get around this problem, or encounter anything else, please keep me updated. I really want to see you get this working! Once you do, it will be worth it.
Well I can't get anything like that to come up myself, but it looks like you're running the compatibility mode just fine, since the game is running. I'm wondering if the issue might be with Xbox Live itself? Like, maybe it was down? It almost looks like it was having a connection issue, as if it didn't have internet connection or something, which you do have. If it wasn't XBL being glitchy, and it's still doing it, I was googling some fixes and got lots of results. Do you have a decent Anti-Virus software on your computer? According to this, some Anti-Virus/Spyware programs will block certain ports, so you might try going in to the settings in the software and enabling these ports.. Honestly, I'm not sure how to "enable ports" within my Anti-Virus program, so I would probably try that the fast/easy way and simply turn off my A-V program and quick try the game again.
Dang it, this sucks TDD! I know there's a work-around though. I didn't get that message when I did the game, but I'm going to try going back through the motions of installing my game again later today and see what I can find out to help you. It's a bit of a pain trying to go through this process of getting it to work, I know. I guess that's the "catch" for playing this game on GFWL lol. But, since it is doable and it will work, it's just a matter of time and I'm confident you'll get it to work. Like I said, I'll look again later today and I'll write you back. Unless if you have any other progress before then, just let me know.
Yeah, messaged back that I might not bother, just because there's hundreds of them and I wouldn't know where to begin, and have limited time lately. If I run into some downtime that I can spend on it, maybe that'll change though. Thanks again!
