Haha I don't have that Darkthrone CD. I got three others and I'll throw reviews up for them tonight if you want. Sound good? And also I'll work on that amon amarth one for you too. Just don't expect all of them up in one night, I got other things I'm working on too. Loading a new "now in theaters" section soon too. Friday The 13th, Paul Blart, Coraline, and Valkyrie should have reviews up soon too, as well as a few DVDs.
Also, right now I take review requests. If there's a CD in the list you'd like a review put up for, let me know and I'll throw one up asap. Just shhh...don't want everyone to know and clog my inbox haha. I'm working on the lists and design moreso then the reviews.
Yeah, it only allowed 4MB bandwidth per hour, so as soon as I find a site that has a better bandwidth setting I'll be happy and relocate until I have enough and file for a .com domain. All the CDs on there are from my collection. I add more constantly. The reviews will take a while though, so be patient haha.
Haha it's ok, it happens. and just a heads up, I'm finishing up the DVD list section, that'll get the update treatment too when complete. Also, check out "Repo! The Genetic Opera". It's amazing. I sat back watching it going "Son of a bitch...they did what I want to do..." One of my life goals is pretty much that exact film.
I don't usually care about production quality, but when it is too poor (like that CD, which was ok to deal with, or the whole "raw" and "kvlt" black metal movement) I just can't stand it. So you recorded this in your mother's basement on an old 8-track cassette tape recorder and released 2nd generation, maybe even 3rd generation casette copies of this will xeroxed artwork. Ok, I get it you're a bunch of kids, but seriously, it's just static! I have a few tapes like that, then they go into the studio and record and it's like "whoa! The fuck?! This rules! You sucked! What happened?!" haha.
Well in the states it dropped today (wednesday) and mailed out yesterday. I'm going to play it in a bit, got some CDs I want to hear first. Picked up the new Satyricon, Napalm Death, and the 3 Inches Of Blood reissue of their indie debut "Battlecry Under A Winter Sun". Had I realized it was THAT CD, I wouldn't have bought it. It kinda sucks hard.
