I can almost guarantee that there will be achievements for completing the story, getting collectibles, and completing the challenge maps.

deepinthemosh 11-05-2010 07:47 AM

Really hope the achievements in this game are more interesting than the last game.

MarleyMon81 02-14-2011 09:37 PM

With the confirmation today from the developers that there will be no MP in AC, at least we know some of those bothersome MP achievements won't be needed.

Axel 360 07-26-2011 08:05 PM

I just hope for no difficulty achievements. No combo achievements and less difficult challenge achievements as well.

Basically, I donīt any of the achievements I havenīt been able to get in Batman Arkham Asylum XDXDXDXDXD

Falchion17 07-29-2011 02:08 PM

So the game's release is in October so I'm expecting that late August or so we'll finally have a verified achievement list for this game, or at least I hope so.

Scrummy64 08-13-2011 11:33 AM

I imagine it'll be more or less the same as last time:

*A bunch for the main story.
*A bunch for defeating the optional side-villains.
*A bunch for completing the Riddler challenges.
*A bunch for the combat/stealth challenges.
*A bunch for pulling off different combos (no Freeflow Perfection, please)
*A bunch for smaller gameplay-related things.

An easy 2,000 if you played the standard release and goty. :woop:

dannyjc 09-01-2011 03:53 PM

My money's on them being more or less identical to AA's achievements i.e. complete story, solve riddles, do challenges. Still suppose it's 1000 in the bag :P

DerEnglaender 09-01-2011 10:43 PM

not a fan of the new game plus achievements

ozzdog12 09-01-2011 10:52 PM

About the same

They seem more varied. I like the NGPlus, having ran through the original 3 or 4 times, this will come naturally. However, I WILL NOT get the 50 hit combo, the best I ever did in AA was 48 twice. Just by looking at the original 1000, I will get prob 800 range. Plus if the episodic content stuff that Kevin Conroy was talking about is true, we could see up to 1700, which I wouldn't mind at all

i just liked the fact that in a single playthrough (with maybe an hour or two tacked on the end for getting hte last few riddles) you could get all the achievements.

this way ill play through the game on hard, then take an hour or two to get the last few riddles....

and hten have to run through the main story on easy as fast as i can just to get hte last few achievements... waste of time if you ask me. obviously this is a *bit* premature but i dont see what purpose it really has??

chizrocker88 09-02-2011 01:18 AM

Words can't begin to describe how excited I am for this game haha

batboy 09-02-2011 03:44 AM

already like how some of these achievements are looking but what is the difference between Arkham City ranked maps and Arkham City campaigns for the medals?

JuSt BLaZe 09-02-2011 03:45 AM

Oh wow what a challenging list. I need Alfred's help for this one.

bigred75x 09-02-2011 04:29 AM

Love the fact there are no secret achievements, but they don't spoil the bad guys like last time.

Scrummy64 09-02-2011 01:52 PM

Loving the new story achievements.

ak6054 09-02-2011 02:00 PM

Achievements are pretty much the same, now instead of being in a confined space you are free to roam the city.

Dz06lt 09-03-2011 01:16 AM

ok did i miss the difficulty cheeves?

The "New Game +" cheevo is kind of like the difficulty one I guess. This new feature allows you to play another second time with all of your Bat-Tools already unlock from the start, and to compensate that they say enemies will have different methods of attack (not sure what exactly that means).

Complete game on each of 3 difficulties is gone. But I think thatīs good, never really like those in any game. Just my opinion.

Also, we have to see how much hard or easy are the challenges in this one. In first game I know many people around think the challenge maps were all easy, but the true is you need patience and play many times to get over it. Maybe this new ones have more variety but are easier, only time will tell.

People who deny themselves the opportunity to play good games due to the Achievement list are idiots. Fact.

If nothing else make a separate profile just to play the game on then delete it that way it won't mess up your gscore :p. This game looks amazing and I like the achievements. Really wanna know how the campaign medals work though. Im guessing it's based on clear time, combat variety, stealth, etc. Not really a fan of medal systems based on time limits though. I hate having to rush through it so I might just let those achievements go. I just wanna play the game :woop:

Krzysiek68 09-26-2011 05:07 PM

looks like no online achievements right?

DESTRO5 09-30-2011 06:53 PM

challenges

Are they gonna have more unique challenges.
