Worst lego game yet ??

Is it me or is this game the worst lego game yet ? Everything is so hard to do and the game is so slow, I have been playing around 5 hours and not one acheive yet and I am still on story 1??

Now I am stuck in the junxed room, done the green, yellow and blue brick to get the badge and now cant get the broomstick to fly anywhere without it chucking me off.....any tips?

I am finding this game a pile of shit to be honest....

Magespower 09-04-2010 09:01 PM

IMO it's one off the best yet and I did not find anything about it hard at all..I found it quite fun to be honest

Antman1977 09-04-2010 09:02 PM

I am obviously crap at it then, seriously stuck in the jinxed room and cant see anyway out, any ideas?

Use those bricks to make stairs to the right. I think there's even a picture in the background to show how it's done.

achti 09-05-2010 12:08 AM

the game is fun and easy to play.
but if you really find it hard to play you might wanna check out some walkthroughs on the internet.;)

Magespower 09-05-2010 12:23 AM

Yeah walkthroughs always help I'm going back through trying to get the collectables and the collectables guide here on the gourmet has helped alot when I'm stuck or can not find something

Van Dayyyyum 09-05-2010 03:45 AM

The worst? I found it the best, gameplay wise. Yeah, a lot of the stuff went over my head as well, but that's to be expected since it's a new story.

distilledspark 09-05-2010 03:56 AM

I agree with Antman1977. i rented it for a week, i played it for an hour or two, i got bored as it sucked and took the game back the next day.

Lego Games are getting worse... or I'm outgrowing them. Lego Star Wars and Indy were fun. Batman was just sort of boring. Lego Indy was just confusing and had terrible driving. This game is even more confusing and full of glitches. I think they are getting worse. I have more points to add at some point but I've said this multiple times and can't remember the other 5 problems with the newer games.

JLogan27 09-05-2010 02:21 PM

Personally, I think Lego Harry Potter is one of the better Lego games. And I've never read a HP book or seen any of the movies.

Jediboy 09-05-2010 05:33 PM

I find this to be one of the better Lego games...

Wasn't a fan of the first Lego Indy game, i found that there were too many glitches... Lego Batman kinda made up for it. Lego Indy 2 made up for the complete shit that the first one was.

Lego Star Wars is by far the best Lego game made still... Can't wait for Lego Star Wars 3 to come out...

11eleven 09-06-2010 02:26 AM

i think its better than the other ones. i've played star wars and batman and haven't finished either of those, i finished the harry potter game after maybe two weeks or less, only playing a couple hours a day or less. i thought it was really fun

Dragon86 09-07-2010 05:29 PM

I thought it was a great game (ecxcept for the glitches).

I've playd four different LEGO games for the 360 (Batman, Indy 1, Harry Potter and Star Wars: TCG) and I've completed all of them except for Star Wars. I found it tedious and probably because I beat both of them when they came out on the PS2

Corhrtz 09-07-2010 08:54 PM

I thought this one was good. A little tedious as all lego games are. But I've said it on the other lego games, they seem to get better each time. The only complaint I have is the clocktower glitched and that set me back. Lego Indy 2 is the worst lego game though.

banej 09-08-2010 05:55 PM

Try referring to this Video walkthrough. Pretty useful for me. :)

ironpunisher200 09-15-2010 01:39 AM

I got through it pretty quickly. The only complaint I had was wandering around trying to find the character markers.

eliott256 09-18-2010 08:36 PM

I'm finding this a proper trawl to get through. Loved the Lego Star Wars and Batman one, but found this and the Indiana Jones one just so boring and repetitive. This one is just the same levels over and over and over again.

*Edit* Actually, I eat my words. After the first 2 years I really got into the game and have now completed it 100% with 1000 achievement points *woot*

gaetax12 09-21-2010 07:14 AM

The glitches are driving me insane, but a fun game none the less.

The Lazy Pyro 09-22-2010 03:49 AM

Well Lego Star Wars is still my favorite, but I'm enjoying Lego Harry Potter quite a bit.

...Granted, all I've played is Lego Star Wars and Lego Harry Potter, but still...

RTRD_Mayhem 09-22-2010 04:04 PM

this game isn't hard at all, just VERY.....VERY.....VERY slow and boring. I got in from GameFly yesterday, got 165/1000 on it and i'm sending it back today. Definitely the worst lego game to date.

Yes and no. I loved the new world levels that not only had the entrance to the individual levels, but had stuff to explore as well. I hated the mini levels that had nothing to do with the story, but were just an excercise in level building.

MartynC65 09-26-2010 02:01 PM

This is the first Lego game that I've played.
I originally bought it for my girlfriends birthday but I've been playing it for a few days and I love it!
I'm really tempted to go out and buy the rest of the Lego series now.

Sampson 09-26-2010 02:10 PM

Definitely not the worst. There are a few aspects that don't appeal to me, but it's pretty much like that in every game.

Agree - not the worst. I think the story mode & exploring Hogwarts good but am now chasing round for all the collectables which is a bit tedious

bigsilentrob 09-28-2010 06:11 PM

Looks like I'll have to pick this one up when it's cheaper.

Honestly? Best Lego game I've played. Not too difficult and pretty engaging. I'm struggling to finish Lego Star Wars TCS right now because it simply isn't as fun as Harry Potter. For reference I have: Lego Harry Potter, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman, and Lego Star Wars TCS.

Getting the collectibles in HP was a lot easier than it is for the other games for some reason.

I think you should get the whole series. They are all unique in their own ways as well as being very similar in others. They are great games for just busting through and getting cheevos. When I play ME2, Halo, and/or anything else that I start struggling with I would pop in lego Batman to use Joker's hand buzzer on people.

chowko 10-02-2010 11:54 PM

I agree with you. I have 100% on LEGO Star Wars, Batman, and Harry Potter and think HP was the best one I've played so far. I thought LEGO Star Wars: TCS was too long and drawn out. I thought HP was just right as far as balance.

bbrandy 10-06-2010 06:39 PM

I loved the game. Starting 2nd playthrough soon
