Crackdown 2 Project Sunburst is a home tower defense game which uses bing maps to allow you to pick territories were you place a base and weapons to fight of endless waves of freaks, achievements unlocked in this game are said to unlock bonuses with the Deluge DLC for Crackdown 2.

This game is very easy for gamerscore but I have gave it a 2/10 for it to be very time consuming but very enjoyable! The two glitched achievements are the two level achievements Walking Tall and To The Max, these are said to be glitched when being achieved using sunburst to get you that level, so be warned.

Another thing worth nothing is that their is a glitch with the time discovered by YohCeezaX

10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This achievement requires you to destroy a high yield enemy (like a Goliath) by manually aiming the weapon to kill it, double tap on your screen and place a cross hair shooting away from the Goliath then take control of one of the weapons by moving your finger on it and pulling down to make it shoot the opposite way to which you are pulling, the achievement will unlock once it is dead.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This achievement requires you to kill 100 enemies within 10 seconds, to do this take manual control of a rocket launcher and shot towards a large amount of enemies and just keep doing so, this will unlock eventually.

It is easier to get a level 3 rocket launcher and place a base at Easter Island as enemies will come from all directions because their is no roads.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Nl/WB/04...fn-K5VLQ==.jpgNo Soliciting! - 5
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/xy/kL/1o...fn5-kkKds=.jpgPaint The Town Red -
10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This achievement requires you to kill 100 enemies with touch aim, build a base with lots of roads and whenever Cell Cars or School Buses appear double tap the screen to select all the weapons and place a cross hair on them, after 100 kills this will unlock.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/tU/6b/1I...fn+7ROrg==.jpgHomeland Security - 15
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This achievement requires you to kill 1000 enemies, this can be done anyway and should be unlocked at the same time as Welcome Mat Of Doom if the game is left running.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/ci/Aq/1I...fn5-sFIG4=.jpgWorkin' Overtime -
10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This is another time consuming achievement which requires you to manually kill 10000 enemies, simply build a base on a road which has a single long straight road (like a motorway), place a laser turret on it and upgrade it whilst using it to shot down the long road killing countless amounts of enemies, after about a hour or two of doing this it should unlock.

Level Achievements

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/AE/e6/1o...fn+ZVHGw==.jpgWalking Tall -
15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
See To The Max..

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/k7/9a/14...fn+HW-iA==.jpgTo The Max -
5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This achievement requires you to reach level 50 which is quite time consuming but also easily gained by upgrading weapons and your bases to their maximum levels and leaving them to do their thing by killing all the freaks,

A mission also gives you a helping hand with this achievement, the mission can vary from saving your neighbor, a supply truck or a ambulance to destroying stolen buses, cell cars or even a Goliath.

Sunburst is also a must when it comes to getting this achievement but be warned if you are level 49 and near level 50 using it will prevent you from getting this achievement because it is currently glitched (this may be the same with level 9 to 10).

Friends Achievements

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/6U/-i/1Y...fn+s1P8g==.jpg
Poker Night - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

This achievement requires you to place 5 friends on 5 turrets, this is done by pressing and holding a weapon till the menu appears and using it to select a friend to place there. Their is a trick to getting this achievement which requires you to have 4 turrets and a level 2 base, simply place friends on all them then use one turret and replace the friend that is mounted on it.

Tip: You could also do this at a friends base.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/er/cC/1I...fn+y23YQ==.jpgSlumber Party -
15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
This achievement might cause you trouble, you need a friend that has this game to get it. When on the menu were you select the base you want to play with swipe your screen right and the friends list will show, find your friend and visit their base, take control of one of their turrets and score a kill and go back to the main menu, then rinse and repeat the previous steps 10 more times and you will eventually unlock this achievement.

Misc Achievements

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/z7/4j/1o...fn+Qy+1A==.jpg Skills For Kills -
10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.png
To gain this achievement you need to earn 200,000 kills with one weapons using manual touch targeting, the weapon levels are displayed below in the achievement description and way to gain provided by danz32

Level 6: 200,000 kills

The number of kills is ONLY from touch targeting, in other words manual targeting. This is when you place the crosshairs either on a mission vehicle or some specific place on the map, or when you manually aim/shoot a gun by touching it.

One easy way is finding a long stretch of road and setting up lasers. I manually set the targets so they would shoot down the road and destroy many freaks in one shot.

Their are plenty of long roads where you can set up the specific weapon that you are going for level 6 in and set targets along the roads for them to shot, kill hordes of enemies as they appear, their are plenty of roads like this in Australia

Not bad so far :) Might want to have a look at the Guide 'rules' as they only like them in a certain lay out.

Guide & Roadmap layout guides. This will give you a much better chance of your guide being accepted :)

Skills for Kills is so dam confusing!!! lol I honestly recon its for getting a LOT of kills for each particular weapon... but I can't seem to get it myself and thats after a lot of kills :(

Edit: Wonder why it did that post in two different fonts :|

Thank you :), I've wrote True Achievement Walkthroughs but never a Roadmap and Achievement Guide for here :).

As for the Skills for Kills Achievement I was following the same method that GRIMFISTED used, which was to leave it running over night and wake up several times throughout the night to set the wave running. (I was using a friends base) Still hasn't unlocked though and I've scored exactly 283,000 kills but remain a level 4 in lasers :(

No probs, I only mentioned it because I know they are getting picky with the guides now and I'd just finished one myself for another WP7 game :P

Yeah I'm just about to fire up that method too, I'm already on Lvl 5 with my explosives, so hopefully this will do it. One base, one road and a hell of a lot of rocket lauchers :P

Dynamite Andy 01-04-2011 11:09 AM

Another method or requirement that I've just thought of could be that you need to level everything to level 4 before you can progress...

303K kills and still no achievement :(

danz32 01-04-2011 04:09 PM

I posted a lengthier explanation in the Skills for Kills thread page. In summary: The achievement can be unlocked by reaching level 6 of one weapon proficiency, which you can do by getting 200,000 kills with one weapon type via manual touch targeting

Could I add your solution to this guide please :)?

DENAz666 01-05-2011 02:38 AM

Cheers Danz!! Saved me a whole lot of time :)

I'm kind of glad that I tend to sit on a rocket turret getting manual kills now!

Yannie Boy 01-05-2011 05:13 AM

I can speak from experience that Walking Tall is missable if you hit 10 via Sunburst.

Also A Gift from a Far never worked for me even when playing the Deluge DLC. What Goes Around never worked for me when reaching Duck Caller in Chuck's Ducks 2 via Facebook. Had to get them using the alternate methods.

Seems to be some cross game connectivity issues.

Also a tip, I unlocked Get of my Lawn from using a friend's upgraded base. :)

DENAz666 01-05-2011 07:16 AM

Agreed, the Facebook and 360 connectivity didn't work for me either... luckily they are both easy achievements to get without the connectivity

Dynamite Andy 01-05-2011 07:28 AM

Alright I added this to the guide as glitched but with Connectivity Issues, Just sent the guide for submission as well, Hopefully I did good :).

Anyone needs help please don't hesitate to ask :)

Hey, I don't know if it's helpful to your guide or not but I came across a neat glitch. Instead of waiting to upgrade my base for like two days, I just changed the date on my phones clock, went back to the base and it was upgraded. When I reset my clock back to the correct time, my base was still upgraded. Didn't see anyone else having posted this anywhere so I thought I would.

Funny, I was considering doing this but never got round to it :P.

I'll quote it and add it to the guide when I finish work tonight :), on my phone at the minute haha :).

Yannie Boy 01-19-2011 02:10 AM

Booted up the game after updating and it gave me my Walking Tall achievement when I was 14 that was previously glitch-ed.

They should be there after about 5 minutes once they accept you as their friend, as long as they have the game it should be fine, this achievement is causing people problems now ever since the updates.

sadlyshesaid 03-12-2011 04:21 PM

I am also having trouble with friends bases. Cant swipe screen to the right when looking for bases. Hopefully there will be another update with a fix.

neskabar a lop 06-18-2011 12:29 AM

Hey i need a friend who also has this game as well, sadly all my friends have gone for i phones so i literally have no one.

Yes this is a plea for a friend haha add me

neskabar a lop

will help with any achievements on my list

Jayour 08-27-2011 04:06 AM

This should probably be updated, it's not possible to get a single achievement in this game now.

It doesn't matter if you already have it downloaded either, when they pulled the game from the marketplace they also pulled the servers for it and it's impossible to play this game without connecting to their servers as you won't be able to establish a geological location to play it at.
