-Online: 0/12
-Approximate amount of time to 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.jpg: One hour if you have gold medals on the Xbox360 version, 2 - 3 hours if not
(depending on skill).
-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: Several, to get the one hour playtime.
-Number of missable achievements None.
-Do cheat codes disable achievements? No cheats.
-Does difficulty affect achievements? No, only one difficulty.
-Glitchy achievements None known.
-Unobtainable achievements None.

Introduction:
Centipede is the first Gameroom title that was released on the WP7. It shares scores and time played with the Xbox 360 version of the Gameroom. If you already have all gold medals on the Xbox 360 version of Centipede, the achievements unlock immediately on the WP7.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The first thing you should do is to try which control system fits you most. You can choose between touch and tilt. After your first game with tilt, you'll unlock Shaking Things Up. Watch the credits in the menu (Help -> Options -> Credits) to unlock Credit Where Credit Is Due
. After that play the game to unlock all three gold medals. You'll also get three achievements for playing the game while travelling for 6 miles / 10 km (and over 35 mph / 55 km/h). Please do this on a train or the passenger seat and don't risk your live or others.

Conclusion:
Centipede offers a list of creative and enjoyable achievements. I enjoyed getting the 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.jpg and can't wait for the other Gameroom releases.

ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE:

Achievements:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.jpg
Win a medal of each type

To get this achievement you have to win a Point Buster, Survivalist and Time Spender medal. It doesn't matter if it's bronze, silver or gold.

This achievement unlocks right away if you've already won a medal of every type on the Xbox 360 version in Centipede of the Gameroom.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/zw/Td/0I...fn--IE1A==.jpgExterminator - 30
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.jpg
Defeat 10 spiders, fleas or scorpions in a single Ranked game

Easiest done on the second level, because the pink worm is slower than the green worm from the first level. Shoot the spider as soon as she jumps into the field and let yourself die if the worm reaches the ground. Fleas are the things that move from the top to the bottom on the screen and drop mushrooms on the field. Sometimes a scorpion will move from one side of the field to another.

Credit Where Credit Is Due - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.jpg
Watched the credits in full

All you have to do is watch the credits. From the main menu go to Help -> Options -> Credits. You can use your finger to speed things up and it'll unlock fine (thanks to montrossity for pointing that out).

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/kw/Wk/0Y...fn-osFiA==.jpgTry Try Again - 10
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f.../site/gp-g.jpg
Surpassed your own leaderboard score 3 times

This achievements requires you to beat your own highscore of the WP7 version three times. It will most likely unlock after your third played game. You don't have to beat your Xbox 360 record (thanks to Ooyah for pointing that out). The WP7 version has it's own leaderboard and shares the public one.

Nice guide mate, and cheers for the mention! :)

The English name for the Credits achievement is Credit Where Credit Is Due.

Ooyah 04-14-2011 12:08 PM

Sorry, I can see that you have just added them!!!

Actually, do you want the tiles for the secret achievements? Will it work if I do it like this?

Finally managed this yesterday by playing it on the PC. Much much easier. Got it on my 2nd attempt.

is the PC version different? Is there two game room centipede games? I got some medals on the PC version but they don't show up on my phone. Also my high score on PC doesn't show up on phone? Glitch?

EDIT: Wow there is actually 2 different Game Room version of Centipede...both called centipede. Awesome. Purchased one for no reason. You really need to specify that in the guide.

Also...2/10??? Who are you trying to kid. Unless you grew up playing Centipede every day as a kid and forced your parents into debt doing so, this aint 2/10. It is only 2/10 if you already have the gold medals on Xbox 360 or Pc version of game, in which case they automatically unlock like you mention. Just on the phone version, it is easily 6/10 or higher. The controls are horrible and I can never get them to cooperate.

Getting the medals on the PC / Xbox makes the game very easy. It's doable on the phone with a bit of training. Centipede was the easiest besides Pitfall and Lunar Lander.

Yes I mean I agree with you, but you cant set the achievement difficulty for THIS game based on how easy it is if you buy another game. That is misleading. I was not aware that if I really wanted the game to be 2/10, I had to spend another $3 on the PC version, because the phone version is much more challenging.

That be like me setting all of the my guides to:

Estimated completion difficulty: 1/10 (if you pay a random skilled gamer $20 to beat it for you)

Gacys Clown 11-04-2013 12:30 AM

I agree with Arsenic. This game is nowhere near a 2/10 without doing it already on Live. And with that said, the game always says the servers are currently unavailable, so it can't read if you have played it before anyways, meaning that option doesn't even work now. I'd adjust the guide to make it more current.

JUST A WORD OF WARNING ABOUT THIS GAME: The Game Room servers to connect the game with the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game are no longer functional. Therefore, you cannot complete the medals on other platforms. They must be done on Windows Phone only. This will make the Gold Medal achievement quite difficult. That is all.

That bumps the difficulty up to 5 or 6.
