Sonic CD Time Attack Videos

In this topic I will be posting Sonic CD Time Attack videos (These videos are not mine) so you can know various routes and such things to get the “Just in Time” achievement. I have personally tested these out and even though I came up 20 seconds behind on some of the times I still managed to get under 25 minutes total. The achievement will pop during the score tally of whatever level level got you under 25 minutes.

Palmtree Panic Zone:

Collision Chaos Zone:

Tidal Tempest Zone:

Quartz Quadrant Zone:

Wacky Workbench Zone:

Stardust Speedway Zone:

Metallic Madness Zone:

Thanks , i couldn't match most of these times but it helped with all the short-cuts :)

You couldn't match them because most of the tricks and maneuvers he uses don't exist in the game any longer. Case in point, the first level of Tidal Tempest, the bugs no longer path the same way and that route cannot be replicated.

Not to mention I'm pretty convinced these are save assisted videos regardless of what the poster says. He gets lucky on blind jumps way too often not to be.

These videos look like a real time speed run. Game versions may differ a bit. Either way, these movies helped me a lot. I finished everything in 20 minutes. If you want to see a tool assisted speed run, watch this (completed in 17:27.65 including score times or 9:40.25 of in-game time):

A lot of the stuff he does in those videos can't even be done and i can't get anywhere near those times he's achieving.

Some of them are quite helpful as a guide though and could improve your time by 30-40 seconds.

I'm currently at 27:15, need to lose 2 mins and 15 seconds somewhere.
