One of my fave shows ever! I can't pick a fave episode, but the earlier the better, when the show wasn't revolved around current affairs.

Agree. I could never pick a favorite. Some may be better than others, but still a fun show.

Big Stoz 01-04-2012 01:43 PM

There are so many but everytime I see the one where Cartman owes his own theme park, it still makes me cry with laughter.

Matt36 01-04-2012 01:51 PM

I'm going to start watching them again. I have the complete series on my laptop, so this should be fun!

romanzad 01-04-2012 02:10 PM

its so hard to pick just one episode as there are many that still make me laugh hard when watching them. but going to say /..... Awesome-O just because he's a prop on my avatar!!

Matt36 01-04-2012 02:14 PM

Cartman as Dogg The Bounty hunter has me in tears!

LFC Alevop 01-04-2012 04:40 PM

The one called over-logged or something about the internet going down was really good

Matt36 01-04-2012 05:09 PM

Beef cake!

TriRock 01-06-2012 11:58 AM

I've been a fan ever since I saw my first episode, and seen all multiple times, but find it impossible to pick a favourite.

Matt36 01-06-2012 04:11 PM

Cartman with Authoritaaah!

JRWEBBY 01-07-2012 03:19 PM

Die Hippies Die!
Ms. Teacher Bangs a Boy
Make Love Not Warcraft
The Mystery of the Urinal Duece

Those are just some of my favorites.

Matt36 01-08-2012 07:43 PM

Nanny - "I'm going to attempt to get down to Erics level"
Cartmans Mam - "Oh, I wouldn't do that if I was you!"
Nanny - "Hello Eric, what seems to be the problem?"

Cartman spits in her mouth hahahahaha

Ive got every season on DVD, and there are so many good episodes it makes it hard to choose. Off the top of my head though Scott Tenorman Must Die and Casa Bonita.

JimCant 02-01-2012 07:27 PM

Succubus, Make Love not Warcraft, Mr. Jefferson, Casa Bonita, Jennifer Lopez

The past 3 seasons or so it seems like they only really put out 2-3 quality episodes

Kinda wish they went back and spent more time on them

Matt36 02-07-2012 01:29 AM

Pretty much anything on the Cult of Cartman boxset :D

Gorsty 02-08-2012 10:19 PM

In no particular order:

Miss Teacher Bangs A Boy
Make Love Not Warcraft
Imaginationland (Trilogy)
Guitar Queer-O
Scott Tenorman Must Die
Passion of the Jew
200 & 201 (wish the later was available uncensored)

Matt36 02-08-2012 10:20 PM

Do people prefer the older episodes, with no relation to current events, to the newer episodes with better animation and current topics?

Older episodes that had no relation to current events. They were so much better when they werent trying so hard to make everything so current.

I dont want them to have an episode of something that just happened last week because I feel they dont get enough quality time to think of good jokes etc

Matt36 02-08-2012 11:14 PM

Exactly. I agree more. I miss episodes like The policeman learning to read so he can catch the chicken fucker. Not episodes about the new Nintendo console.

King of Battle 02-27-2012 06:41 AM

There are so many episodes, to choose an absolute favorite would be impossible. I think I can name a few though.

Guitar queero
the first towelie episode ( you waana get high?)
Trapped in the closet
jersey shore episode
chicken lover
cartman land
and ninja stars

Those are just a few.

Matt36 03-07-2012 10:56 PM

Early South Park is better than the newer stuff. Where the stories were random and now based on current events.

Some of the newer ones are freaking hilarious though. I would say the old ones are better overall, but no where near to the same extent as The Simpsons and Family Guy. (Which just stopped being funny altogether.)

Too true. The only Simpsons episodes I look forward to are the first of the season, Halloween special and final episode of the season. Everything else, I'm not too fussed if I don't get a chance to watch it.

Family Guy, ugh... Seth MacFarlane himself said (can't remember when exactly) that Family Guy should of died years ago. Or maybe it was his mother... but I agree with whoever said it. I only knew about the show after it came back on air, but I enjoyed the older episodes a lot more.

Sometimes I watch FG and what is supposed to be funny, I just sit there and feel so dumb. Not sure if I fail to understand the joke or if it's not funny at all!

Anyway, before I derail the thread even more than I have.

A favourite South Park episode? Any episode from season 12 is a winner for me. There are too many episodes I throughout the years, but season 12 (I am currently watching it so maybe that's why I am enjoying it) packs a good punch.

Matt36 03-13-2012 11:30 AM

I don't find Family Guy funny, at all! Prefer American Dad, but even that rarely gets a laugh.

Love the Simpsons, but that's because I have a soft spot for them since I watched them from a young age. Season 23 has been funny.

Don't get me wrong, I love all South Park eps, but I went back to watch the older ones when I posted that post and I laughed a lot more then I did at the newer ones.

Yeah I stopped Family Guy and picked up American Dad as well. It was better, but still kind of dull so I haven't watched in a while. For me, it's probably on the same level as the current Simpsons eps. That is better than Family Guy but no where near South Park. Speaking of which I'm so psyched for season 16 of South Park. :D

JimCant 03-14-2012 01:10 PM

BTW just to make sure everyone knows...new south park tonight!
