Introduction:
Mush is a puzzle based game in which you use four different emotions to complete the levels and collect minimotes along the way. There is the happy emotion which makes Mush float, the sad emotion which makes Mush sink in water and fall faster, the confused emotion which flips Mush's world upside down, and the angry emotion which allows him to break blocks and defeat baddies. This game has 20 achievements worth 200 gamerscore.

Step 1: The Playthrough
The first step will or should unlock all the achievements in the game. Try to collect all the minimotes along the way, if you miss a few you are allowed to replay the levels. Be sure to do the miscellaneous achievements along the way, i.e. Magpie and Smashing Good Time.

Conclusion:
All in all Mush is a very simple puzzle game with easy achievements. It won't take along and you will enjoy every bit of this quizzical game. If you have followed this Road Map and stuck through the Guide congratulations on your 200 gamerscore!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UP33Kk4=.jpg Home in Time for Tea 30:gsicon:
Complete all the levels.
There are a total of 12 levels in the game. The twelve levels are divided into 4 sections: Happy, Sad, Confused, and Angry. The puzzles are very simple and you will most likely never find yourself stuck.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPm9coY=.jpg Mood Maestro 5
Change emotions 150 times.:gsicon:
You must change from one emotion to the other 150 different times. This will come with natural progression as you will have to swap between your emotions a lot to complete the puzzles.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPzzeuI=.jpg Emotion Ninja 5:gsicon:
Complete a level in less than five minutes.
Easiest level to be done on is obviously level 1. After you have a feel for it do a speed run through it. Do not worry about collecting minimotes as you do not need them to complete a level.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPlRkRs=.jpg Only 9 Million to Go... 5:gsicon:
Collect your first 10 minimotes.
Minimotes are scattered through out the levels in the game. You have to use the emotion that the minimote is in order to collect it. You will have to unlock this achievement if you plan on playing the game at all. It is nearly impossible to complete a single level without accidently collecting 10 minimotes.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UP4222g=.jpg Magpie 15:gsicon:
Complete any level collecting all minimotes.
As said above minimotes are scattered throughout the puzzles in the game and to collect a minimote you must be in that emotion, for example if its a happy minimote you must have the happy emotion enabled. Easily done on level 1. Level 1 has 4 minimotes and all are happy minimotes. Just take your time. You can replay the level and collect any you have missed and the ones previously collected will be grayed out.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UP8yi8Q=.jpg Evasive 5:gsicon:
Complete a level without collecting 10 or more minimotes.
You can take the easy way out or the hard way. The hard way would be going through a level avoiding as many minimotes as you can and hoping you complete it without collecting ten. The easy way would be to complete level 1 collecting all the minimotes then replaying level one and running through it as fast as you can. Once you collect a minimote in can not be collected again, therefore if you previously collected all minimotes you can not pick any up this time around.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPqSLSo=.jpg Smile When Down 10:gsicon:
Complete a sad level collecting all happy minimotes.
The first level you can obtain this achievement on is level 4, the first level with sad minimotes. There are 30 happy minimotes and 50 sad minimotes. You CAN collect any number of sad minimotes as long as you collect all happy minimotes in the level.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPwd1Gg=.jpg Electromaniac 5:gsicon:
Collide with electricity three times in a row.
You will first encounter electricity in level 4. Early on in the level you will encounter a rope that is electrified. Use your happy emotion to fly into it three times.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPixaYg=.jpg Spinning Out 5:gsicon:
Change to the confused state three times in quick succession.
You will unlock the confused emotion on level 7. You must use it 3 times in succession. Quickly flip you phone 3 times. It seems a little tricky to get it to trigger but keep trying and you will unlock it.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UPm1OSQ=.jpg Smashing Good Time 10:gsicon:
Smash 65 rocks.
To smash rocks you must unlock the angry emotion. The angry emotion is unlocked on level 10. To smash into the rocks you simply bump or run through them while angry. There are more than 65 rocks in level 10 alone.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/i...5/UP0TgnE=.jpg Emotionally Complete 30:gsicon:
Collect all minimotes in the game and complete the current level.
All 12 levels have a specific amount of minimotes. To check how many of which minimotes are on the level, pause the game. In order to collect a minimote you must have the corresponding emotion on, i.e. Angry for angry and happy for happy. Most minimotes are always easy to find and usually in your direct path. Note that you must complete the level in order for the minimotes you collected to register.

Nekroballe put together a small list of "hard to find" Minimotes:

Level 2 The Canopy: There is another tree exactly like the tree you are comming out of at the beginning it is not too far into the level, go down the tree and collect 3 happy minimotes.

Level 4 The Doldrums: Use your happy emotion at the start to collect 6 happy minimotes.

Level 7 The Pits: Just after you put a ball through 3 oil fountains, jump down, go right, 9 confusion minimotes.

Level 12 Lost and Found: the end of the level there is a wheel and a breakable brick in a "windmill" make sure you get down before the wheel does else you will miss 4 sad and 4 angry minimotes, if you don't do this right, you will not get them

ill leave it up to the community to decided if you really want a minimotes guide or not....

other than that the guide is, for the most part, complete... another proofread and a little bit more information and its good to go!

BipolarGlenn 07-05-2012 06:05 AM

Really good guide. A minimote guide would be good, but from what I can tell, we shouldn't need it really.

If you haven't played the game yet, you will see that all the minimotes are along the path as the game is linear and doesn't stray off that much. The difficulty is more having to collect them in a certain state of emotions. The ones pointed out in the guide are the only hard ones, even the ones on level 4 are hard to miss, but if your not being careful then you will miss them.

As long as you take your time and make sure you collect all minimotes and do all miscellaneous achievements before you complete level 12 then you will be good to go. A very easy 200gs in 4 hours or less.

nekroballe 07-05-2012 10:34 AM

a minimotes guide is useless in my opinion, just as the guy wrote, only minimotes both of us didn't have at the first play thru was the ones that's now listed, quite easy

and if you'd follow a guide for this minimotes the game would twice as long and takes the fun out of it I'd guess

Hey guys,

I'm missing 7 smiling minimotes in Level 10, any ideas? Thanks

You're probably missing the same ones that I were. While you are running across the beams as Angry Mush, at the start of the level, you will notice an opening in the ceiling. They are up there.

Yes, you're right! Thanks for your help!

Yeah, after playing more than the trial after being charged twice for it, no guide needed.

Thanks for posting the guide so quickly. I usually dont buy the week's game right away unless it is $.99, at least until there is a guide or a feel for how easy of a 200 it is. The last thing I need is another long, grindy game for my phone.

$2.99 is definitely too much for this game, but either way, it's a beautiful game and a quick painless 200. I finished it roughly in an hour, the minimotes on level 12 was the only thing holding me up.

Yeah. I think it is hard to say anymore what a game is worth. It is all relative. To go to a 90 minute movie around my town it is $10....I think overall this game for $3 gave me a slightly longer, but much cheaper, and better experience than a movie would. Game like this should be considered one-time fun like a movie, but more cost friendly. Imagine if movies costed $3!

Thx for the minimote tips :)

Well there is nothing to this game if you dont collect those things. You could run through each level in 3 minutes finishing the game in 30 minutes instead of 2 hours haha.

Yeah i agree with you and understand but many games now just use collectables just for longevity

Yeah agreed. I like how Mirror's Edge only requires you to get roughly 33% of the collectables. You can basically get that many without trying, or just picking up the ones you can see in plain sight and try to get to.

For Mush, I do not mind it. The game really does not have much depth to it. There are not that many levels and they are short. Especially since you have to be in a certain emotion to pick up certain emotes. Anyways, I still love this game!

neeker75 07-18-2012 03:38 AM

Somehow, the tilting controls gave me motion sickness. Had to take anti-nausea pills after playing the game. Damn.

StarsRPD 08-06-2012 03:40 AM

What annoying collectibles, I been through 1-2 four times now. 87/90. I found 3, still 3 left.

YBEAR 10-07-2012 11:13 PM

Appreciate the guide, helped me to 100%

ManekiNeko 01-03-2013 05:19 PM

I'm missing 4 happy minimotes on the level The Pits, can anyone help me out?

Never mind, found them!

Rcurtis17 01-29-2013 02:10 AM

I am still missing 2 sad minimotes on level 6 (dockyard), 2 happy minimotes on level 9 (lost the plot), and 3 angry minimotes on level 10 (demolition). Can anyone give me any help possibly please?

QuiCkz Ninja 01-20-2014 11:07 AM
