DLC trouble?
I can't seem to get the DLC to work when I downloaded it in game...

MikeydCT 12-23-2012 02:53 PM

I went to go buy it today and cant find it.

awesomepizza 12-25-2012 02:53 AM

Xbox Forum is saying the DLC was pulled from the marketplace... what the hell....

BoyDay 12-26-2012 01:34 AM

Yep, I couldn't find the Dreadnought or Chaos Assault (or whatever it's called) DLC on the marketplace when I just bought the game :(

MajkelMoss 12-27-2012 06:46 AM

I have the same issue. Couple a months ago the DLC cost was ok - 800 MSP each. Now the DLCs are not available. When I try to download it from the game it says that it cost -1 MSP and when I try to download it it says that I don't have enough MSP (around 4 millions!). What the hell!? FIX IT GUYS, FIX IT!!!!

dementedlullaby 12-31-2012 08:38 PM

Yeah I replied to this on the official forums :(. Wish someone would get some official word on what happened.

Still no update on this? I'll be pissed if I can't max this game out because they've taken down the DLC.

alanp9 01-08-2013 03:13 AM

Yeah, the DLC was delisted like a lot of THQ content recently.

awesomepizza 01-08-2013 04:27 AM

Maybe THQ owed money to Microsoft and they won't restore it until they get paid...

Si Alpha 01-09-2013 07:20 AM

Dammit THQ, hurry up and be bought already!

awesomepizza 01-23-2013 11:40 PM

The article I read said Relic went to SEGA. Now, can they turn back on the DLC?

That depends, as far as i understand Sega did not get the Warhammer license when they bought Relic, and without the license They can get sued for selling it.

PhoenixTemplar 01-27-2013 10:59 PM

So I just broke this game back out after being on my shelf for a year, and low and behold the DLC has vanished. This has got to be because of THQ going under, right? I mean the timing just makes too much sense. I'm guessing whoever bought Relic doesn't (obviously) own the rights to Warhammer, but what the hell? Seriously, they better get this figured out.

SAM 602 07-17-2013 09:20 PM

Is there any kind of update on this?

Deaf_Paradox 07-25-2013 09:47 AM

how about they make it free, surely that would work???

Relic ownership
Found the following on a Warhammer 40k site. It is a response from Sega in regards to their takeover of the Space Marine content and the loss of the DLC servers:

Vincent - SEGA, Apr 16 12:01 (BST): Dear Customer, Unfortunately, we currently do not have access to the tools required to sort this issue out for you. We are currently working closely with Relic to get these tools in place as quickly as possible. We will let you know as soon as we have the ability to assist you. We apologise for any inconvenience during this transition and greatly appreciate your patience. Kind Regards, SEGA Support

However this was months ago, so I'm guessing those servers aren't coming back online. That's a shame because Dreadnought Assault was the most fun I've had on the multiplayer, and now I can't get the Chaos cheevos.:(
