This list actually looks really good. Of course, 100% mission constraints are back...so I just hope the naval missions don't have ridiculous ones like ACIII's Giant & The Storm did.

Sharing is Caring looks odds, I wonder how that'll work.

Reaching level 55 in Multiplayer though....? Com'n Ubisoft :( Other than that, only 5 MP achievements!

AOS Puck 09-20-2013 02:32 PM

I'm disappointed in the achievements, most are just recycled from previous games. What happened to developer's imagination when it came to creating achievements?

Lonegunman718 09-20-2013 02:32 PM

wonder how hard this will be to complete before the xbox one version drops.

I have failed to go back and gt 100% mission constraints/sync in Brotherhood, Revelations and 3, I seriously doubt this will change that unless the requirements are less annoying. I will probably sit down and do it though before I transition to next gen in the spring.

Multiplayer achievements in this series doesn't bother me, as I like the mp in moderation. I will probably end boosting out these achievements though.

Pudmoney 09-20-2013 09:35 PM

This series just keeps getting better! However, I do feel that they need to give up on the multiplayer. I only dip into the multiplayer for the achievements

Barad 09-21-2013 12:15 AM

Multiplayer achievements were going so well since Brotherhood but they've bumped it back to level 55.. -_- Not cool. As for the singleplayer achievements, nothing new. I'm sure there'll be LOTS of annoying 100% requirements once again especially the navel stuff. Can't wait!

It died once 2010 rolled around.

If anything Black Flag will be harder than those three games combined due to the big emphasis on naval battles :/

MP achievements look easy, but the grind to 55 won't be fun AT ALL because no one plays the game types correctly.

Time for us to get a boosting lobby together to get to 55!

Like I said above, I assume this game's constraints are going to be a bitch due to naval battles.

GeneralCurry726 09-21-2013 12:58 AM

I'm pretty sure it's a requirement that every game with multiplayer must have a "top level" achievement:)...

I dunno, it should at the very least be less tedious since it seems to be just the full sync mission constraints and not every little god damn thing like in 3.

I really should get my copy of 3 back from my friend.

SoaponaRope 09-21-2013 01:12 AM

Does anyone else think the majority of the list is decidedly non piratey? They could have done a much better job here making these more fun and more in line with the theme.

Then again, we both finished AC3 so I'm up for the challenge..twice seeing as it's on next gen too.

You're getting it for both systems for the $10 upgrade to next-gen? Crazy bastard! :p

I'll get it for Xbox One this year, and for the 360 probably when it's dirt cheap sometime next year. It should probably be the opposite lol.

Probably, but you're weird like that ;)

cjdavies 09-21-2013 05:23 PM

By The Book 50G
Complete 100% of all main mission constraints.

I dislike these, it's like you want to do it the first playthrough so much you are following a guide! You feel dictated on how to play, no fun.

Committed To The Cause 20G
Reach level 55 in Multiplayer.

Easy for me, I enjoy the MP on AC3 I was prestige 2 or 3, but since it's bumped up to level 55 for the achievement, wonder if the highest is now 100 before you prestige.

All Rounder 20G
Play on every game mode, and use every ability and ranged weapon once in Multiplayer.

Mode is ok, ranged weapon is ok, but some abilities suck, guess I will only use certain abilities I never use normally in a noob lobby.

Master Of The Caribbean 20G
Complete the Discovery Mode of Wolfpack in Multiplayer

Wolfpack is back, great mode expect some stupid players have no clue and rush kills.

Good observation. If 55 isn't even the highest rank anymore...say 100 is, maybe reaching Rank 55 won't be too bad.

Also, as mentioned, Wolfpack is SO much fun...but if you aren't communicating 110% with your teammates, it's a fucking mess.

TigerSparky 09-23-2013 01:21 PM

The nice thing about Wolfpack being in the game is that you don't even have to play with anyone else if you don't want to in order to reach level 55. I don't know how long it would take, but in AC3 compared to the other MP modes, I generally earned more exp playing that than the other MP modes.

I did the AC3 achievements under my account back when the game came out last year. But I have been replaying all of the games under my wife's account recently and just got to AC3 last week. Of course there aren't a whole lot of people playing the MP portion of the game anymore. But still I was able to earn all of the MP achievements by level 15 (except the level 20 one of course). And the few matches that I got into after that were filled with idiots or the servers disconnected me from the host, losing all progress.

I decided to just go into invite-only wolfpack and get the rest of the levels there. It only took me 3 games to go from 15 - 20. Since you're the host you shouldn't be able to get disconnected (but then Ubisoft might find some way of having that happen). It worked out really well.

So just a tip for AC4, once you get the other achievements, it might save you some headaches if you aren't fond of playing with others online in this game by playing the Wolfpack mode solo to get the rest of the way there.

R0KETM4N 09-23-2013 07:36 PM

Not a big fan of multiplayer. I only played ACMP in AC3, and it was OK ... impossible to find a good team, had to do it solo for the most part anyway ... could have been more creative about the achievements i guess ...

still can't wait to play!

Oh dear lord I hated that mission. I got so frustrated I was starting to swear in the language of the Elder Gods. The Multiplayer missions don't look to bad since they brought wolfpack back and I LOVED that game mode. But trying to get the one Multiplayer achievement in AC III's Downloadable content was a pain since I kept getting into matches with these Leroy Jenkins Kids consistantly bumrushing targets and screwing up the synch kill sections.

I don't know...playing Wolfpack on your own is boring and EXTREMELY slow in terms of gaining experience. Better off playing with horrible randoms.

Fuggs 09-26-2013 10:46 PM

I'm Ready

I'm ready. Can't Wait

combicoilag 10-03-2013 12:28 AM

the only one I am dreading is the lvl 55, playing with randoms who sprint around from the get-go, and never stop drives me nuts. I tried playing Wolfpack by myself I gained maybe 5-6 levels that way, I gained a lot more playing in full rooms. All in all these seem incredibly easy though.

AustinClarke 10-07-2013 08:53 AM

I like this one game it is my best of them in other games.

KiDDo 10-08-2013 12:43 PM

Reaching level 55 won't be that annoying I guess. I really enjoyed the Deathmatch mode on small maps without abilities in AC3; never finished worse than 2nd place there

"All Rounder" on the other hand doesn't sound that much fun...

MarleyMon81 10-08-2013 04:25 PM

All Rounder will be one of those that we will probably have to keep track of manually so as to not be running around wondering what we haven't done. I neglected to do this on ACB and it was nuts trying to get Employee of the Month.

Probably will not be too hard to do legit. Just one that you have to keep track of on a spreadsheet of some kind.

pedgz 10-15-2013 03:02 AM

looking at the MP achievements...

Committed To The Cause 20G
Reach level 55 in Multiplayer.

- hopefully Wolfpack will help me reach this fast like i did with AC3...

All Rounder 20G
Play on every game mode, and use every ability and ranged weapon once in Multiplayer.

- probably use Wolfpack for the abilities and ranged weapons requirements so i only have to worry about the "every game mode" bit. unless it's using abilities and ranged weapons at least once in each game mode... ugh!

Master Of The Caribbean 20G
Complete the Discovery Mode of Wolfpack in Multiplayer

- Wolfpack

Personal Bag of Tricks 10G
Finish a game session with an ability set that you customized in Multiplayer.
- Wolfpack

Lab Technician 10G
Play and complete a game session of Game Lab in the Multiplayer Public playlist.
- now this is completely new to me. i wonder what Game Lab will be...

as for the SP achievements, i wonder what the new Employee of the Month achievement is. and i sure hope those naval-& ship-related achievements aren't as annoying as AC3's were...

GregElf 10-21-2013 12:20 AM

Clever girl

With all the butthurt over the MP achievements, not much attention has been dedicated to the secret achievements or the story achievements.
I wonder if Ubisoft intentionally made horrible MP achieves to cover up the modern day Abstergo missions. Like we have a buttload of footage featuring Edward and his adventures, and the MP, especially Manhunt and Wolfpack. But nothing about the modern day. We only have a few snapshots of the office. And how exactly is our character gonna start suspecting Abstergo of bad things? There's nothing that ties the Templars to Abstergo, and for good reason. Is Clay gonna come in as deus ex machina and start dropping hints? i mean, it's possible, because his memories were still inside the Animus Core, which Abstergo remote-hacked. But that would mean that he expected Abstergo to remote-hack the Core. Although it wouldn't be the first time he has knowledge which seems to come from nowhere.
Also, on the modern day front, are we gonna get to customise our character, and make it truly us working for Abstergo and undermining it from the inside? And is our character gonna discover the truth about Abstergo and get chased off like Shaun did? Then, either our character becomes an Assassin or dies horribly.
Anyways, gonna be gaming out to this next weekend and it'll be awesome. Gonna be drinking with my brother just to make it a little more fun
For every main assassination target killed, take 1 shot
For every time you die, take 2 shots
For every bar you unlock, finish your drink.:drunk
Come on, fellow Assassins! Let's rock it.

Probably not. The modern day section is going to be in first-person, and Ubisoft has also emphasized that YOU are the character. No idea how that's going to play out, but you'll probably not see the modern day character in person at all.

Really? I haven't really been keeping up with AC4 after how disappointed I was with AC3... but hearing first-person makes me think of those damn Desmond sequenses from Revelations
