Caleb Maynard's Gamercard
You have a number of lives that is represented by a number if you're on single player or a number of gems in the top center area of the screen if you're on coop. Even if you run out of lives, you just restart from the last checkpoint, which is at the beginning of each dungeon level. You don't lose anything for dying. If you are on coop, if you die and a friend continues killing things, you will lag behind just a little in experience. You don't collect experience if you are dead. Other than that, the only drawback to dying would be restarting the level.
