You get this first clue from the coroner.

Examine the body and turn the head both directions which shifts the collar of the shirt. Now you can get a better look at the label.

Go to the house and knock on the door. After the chat, you'll get to search around.

Clue 6/17: Matchbook

On the table by the fireplace is a chess board. In front of it is the matchbook. You'll get a new location as well as the clue.

Go through the kitchen to the laundry room. Pick up the handbag on the sink and investigate it's contents. Now kneel down and look at the boots. Rorate them to see the mud and shoe size. Now turn around and see the red flanel jacket. Take a closer look.

From the laundry room, head outside to the back yard. Run around to find the boat on the side. On the front of the boat is the rope.

After talking to the clerk at the bus station will will get this clue.

This will not be updated for you in your locations. It will make a path on the street red. You are required to drive since it's not a location in your book. You should go reverse of the way you'd naturally go (against traffic). So turn your car around and head that way. If you go off the path, it will disappear. You will need to turn around and head to where you think it is. Talk to the bus once you pull it over.

Clue 15/17: Victim Last Seen

Obtained after speaking with the bus driver.

Location: Hobo Camp

When you show up to the camp finally, you will have to arrest the disfigured suspect after being in a brawl. Now you can search the camp.

The Rope Piece is on the nightstand by the head of the bed. Rotate it by holding down. Now look at the wooden table and in front of the candle you'll find the purse. Rotate it to find the initials, then investigate further. You'll find a ticket inside, which you then rotate as well.

Once you get to the station, go to Interview Room 1.
