All my purchases are digital:

*BF4

CoD Ghosts

CoD Adv Warfare

FIFA 15

NHL 15

Madden 15

Game of Thrones

GTA5

*Halo MCCC

Halo Spartan Assault

Killer Instinct season 1&2

*Shadow of Mordor

Monopoly

Risk

Pinball FX2 (from 360 tables)

*Ryse

Valiant Hearts

Titanfall

* = games I don't regret buying.

All the other ones were ok and I played and enjoyed them to an extent, but would not purchase knowing what I know now.

After one year the pros & cons:

Pros: -love the Xbone controller. It's like sex in my hand without the messy cleanup afterwards

-my friends own it too

-Liking the multimedia interconnectivity features like the OneGuide, etc...

-The system updates. At least they are listening and adding features that are requested. The system is night and day different from day one.

Cons: -Sort of a lack of games. Like my list above notes, if I wasn't an impulse buyer with lots of money I wouldn't have many games that WOW me. PS4 is worse though.

-The complete abandonment of Kinect. After the 2013 E3 where they stood firm on Kinect being a part of the system forever, they ditched it faster than a fat kid with a salad. I bought a Day One edition on day one, and I knew they would put out a Kinectless console once they saw their first round of sales figures, but it still feels like a betrayal of my loyalty. All they had to do was listen the first time around and the One would be neck and neck with Sony right now.

All in all, a good experience. Needs some more games as I am on a Nintendo kick right now for the last 2 months with all the exclusives they have been kicking out that are ...GASP...fun.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm only missing a total of like 10-15 games on the marketplace if I were to download the non-listed EA Access available games. And I guess as a disclaimer, a large portion of these titles were given to me as review copies.

I got mine last May, but didn't play a massive amount as I was trying (and failing) to clear my Xbox 360 backlog before I gave it away to my nephews for Christmas. Am cracking into the Xbox One now though, currently working on Watch Dogs.

Physical (7):

  • Ryse
  • Watch Dogs
  • Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes
  • Destiny
  • Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag *
  • Halo: MCC *
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order *

Digital (19):

  • Titanfall
  • Forza Motorsport 5
  • Assassin's Creed: Unity *
  • Game of Thrones *
  • Valiant Hearts *
  • The Walking Dead Season 2 *
  • Max: The Curse of Brotherhood (GwG)
  • Halo: Spartan Assault (GwG)
  • Crimson Dragon (GwG)*
  • Super Time Force (GwG)*
  • Strike Suit Zero (GwG)*
  • Chariot (GwG)*
  • Worms Battlegrounds (GwG)*
  • Battlefield 4 (EA)
  • FIFA 14 (EA)
  • Madden 25 (EA)
  • Need for Speed: Rivals (EA)*
  • Peggle 2 (EA)*
  • Plants vs Zombies (EA)*
  • EA Sports UFC (EA)*

* = not started

italics = may not bother

I don't have a massive amount of free time, so I have no idea how I'm going to get through that list, nevermind getting anything new! There's plenty to choose from as far as I'm concerned though.

I'm very happy with the Xbox One library now. I remember when I first got my One and seeing how small the library was for it, that I would wind up going back to my 360 to play games. But it didn't take long before I was spending more and more time on the One. Now, I'm overwhelmed with my One backlog lol! I'm up to nearly 40 games between digital downloads and physical copies, and I've only played about half of them. This first year has been great, there's new games being released all of the time, and I can't wait to see how 2015 is! I won't be surprised at all if this time next year I have a backlog of 100 Xbox One games, ha! :p

I still enjoy my 360 more, I voted neigh (no), theres literally only a handful of titles that have wowed me, the rest was just gamerscore plays, I wont be fully happy till Batman hits. I don't get how people can play XB1 exclusively now, as most of the games are shit. My 360 backlog will keep me happy for another good 2 years. I do rather enjoy these XB1 remasters tho. GTA5 was amazing on XB1, probably one of the best games.
