Tyger7
Sequence 1: A Sort of Homecoming Memory 1: The Hangman There is no extra objective. Memory 2: A Narrow Escape Objective: Kill a Byzantine Templar with a counter kill You will need to counter an enemy attack which is very easy. Just hold and press right before an enemy hits you. Memory 3: A Journal of Some Kind Objective: Do not fail a single tail This is a lot easier than it sounds. Just follow the target being careful not to get too close. You'll be almost surprised when it's over, because you would think it meant you would be following many tails. The fact you don't fail the first one means you only had to track one. Memory 4: A Hard Ride There are no extra objectives. A little bit tricky, the scene where you must crash into the other carriage can be challenging. You must wind up more than the enemy. Your goal is not to try to destroy it, but to get to a certain point on the path. Therefore, watch out mostly for the rocky parts of the road and when in open area, hit the other cart. Memory 5: The Wounded Eagle Objective: Kill at least 5 guards from a haystack Kill the first guard you see, then go down the path and to the first haystack on the left. Wait and kill the guard there. Run up to the path to the other guards so that they see you. Run back to the haystack when they follow. Kill them and move on. The next area stick to your right to find the haystack. Wait to kill the 4th enemy. Drag another close enemy toward you and kill them too. That will be your easy 5. Sequence 2: The Crossroads of the World Memory 1: A Warm Welcome Objective: Do not wander far from Yusuf Do as it says, don't leave his side. Just don't press anything, the game walks for you. Your walk will be interrupted by a fight. Take care of the enemies, then get close again to let yourself walk. Memory 2: Upgrade and Explore No other objective. Memory 3: The Hookblade Objective: Perform every hookblade move successfully at least once This is a short tutorial on the Hookblade which allows a few extra agility based moves. -Extended Reach- Hold in midair when you jump and your hook will catch on the ledge. -Long Jump- Press in midair while jumping to one of the hanging lamps. Instead of grabbing it and turning the corner, you will use your hook to make you jump farther forward. -Hook and Run- Sprint using and hold right as you are nearing the highlighted character. Memory 4: The View from Galata Objective: Climb the tower in under 60 seconds Follow Yusuf up the wall and remember to keep tapping (or hold) to use the hook. There is a point where you can go right instead of following Yusuf to the left. Do this so that he doesn't get in your way. After the cut scene it will tell you the objective is complete. Memory 5: Advanced Tactics Objective: Perform a zipline assassination This is almost a given, as it's a tutorial. Just get on the zipline and assassinate the enemy when indicated to. Memory 6: On the Defense No extra objectives. Achievement Opportunity: Iron Curtain Don't fire the cannon during the defense and you'll gain this achievement as long as the den itself hasn't taken any damage. You can replay this mission if you miss this, or do different den defenses when they happen later on. Memory 7: On the Attack Objective: Do not create any conflict in the Imperial North District This is the first actual annoying objective, because failing means doing the entire memory over again. There are mini cut scenes which create a boring gap from the start of the memory to actually trying to obtain the objective. A conflict is basically any time guards know you're around and the indicator is red. The mission is quite straightforward as you move along. The part you will have to get creative is when you need to kill the captain. I have tried it many ways, and this one seemed the best. Go to the building on the left and wait for the guard to stop. Throw a knife to kill him. Killing him any other way has a high alert rate for a different guard on the right building. After that death, do the same thing to the guard on the right. You can throw from a distance. Now select poison dart and shoot the captain. He will die eventually so move on. Go to the building that is lower and right next to the grey tower. Throw a bomb to the right to distract the guards. Jumping without doing that will alert them (very likely anyways). Now you can climb to the top with them distracted. Tyger7
Sequence 3: Lost and Found Memory 1: The Prisoner Objective: Pickpocket the guard to retrieve the key It might be easier if you bribe the herald in the area first (if the upper left symbol has red around it). This guy can be found on a platform talking to a crowd. He is just to your right going to the area you need to go. Once you zipline, use your eagle vision by pressing . You will be able to spot the guard on your left. It will mark the guard in gold whom has the key. Now jump down to the group of people and quickly blend in. Go to the farthest point you can where the guard shows up. Follow him as he walks away from the crowd and press to steal the key. Now run back to the prisoners. You shouldn't kill anyone or it may void the objective. Memory 2: The Sentinel, Part 1 Use your Assassin Signal at least 1 time Another really easy one. Just press when you get to the area with the enemies you must assassinate. Memory 3: Guild Contracts There is no extra objective. Memory 4: Bomb Crafting There is no extra objective. Memory 5: A Familiar Face There is no extra objective. Memory 6: The Yerebatan Cistern Objective: Do not be detected This will be fairly difficult. The best way to go about it is long ranged killing from above. There are a few sections with many guards. If you watch and wait, you'll see their routines. You can always do this memory again later when you have more equipment at hand. I believe this area is where they really wanted you to start testing the bombs out, as there is tons of chests with supplies and a few bomb crafting tables. Memory 7: Quid Pro Quo There is no extra objective Memory 8: The Mentor's Keeper Objective: Save all citizens under attack As you play this memory, you should see black dots on your mini map. They appear when you aren't detected of in a fight (when the mini map looks normal). There are 4 of them, just kill the soldiers around the people. Do this until it shows you have completed the objective. Memory 9: Curse of the Romani Objective: Poison all of your targets while blending with the Romanies Walk blended and make sure you have at least 3-5 poison darts before attempting. Once you stop the game will tell you to poison the guard. Do so, and then tail the next one. Just do this all 3 times and you'll get the easy sync. Memory 10: The Sentinel, Part 2 Objective: Do not be detected while you search for the prisoners This is likely where one of your assassins has been while doing a mission that had an unknown time frame. After completing this mission you will gain him back. This is actually a very easy stealth objective because there are no enemies on the roofs. On the right, the person you have to rescue only has 2 guards. You can double assassinate them from above. The other one you can just summon assassins to kill the guards off which do nothing to your detection. You can also poison them or use a crossbow if you bought one. Sequence 4: The Uncivil War Memory 1: The Prince's Banquet Objective: Beat Yusuf to Topkapi Palace This is a little confusing, as Yusuf is not shown on the mini map. There are however, other assassins running there as well. You can try it any way you want, there is no set path. I chose to go the lower route on the ground. This helped because There was never really any pausing except when you run into people. At the end, you will have to climb up to the marker. Memory 2: An Uneasy Meeting Objective: Do not be detected This is an extremely short mission. Climb on the roofs and get to the target. You can skip the enemies completely and there are none on the rooftops. Memory 3: The Fourth Part of the World Objective: Get in and out of the port without being detected This can be done extremely easy if you have a parachute and a full Arrow Storm ready. To the right of the initial guards you'll see a clear path you must take. Jump to the lantern over the boards and use the long jump with the hook. Climb up next to the zipline but instead, jump and parachute to your right to the front of the ship. Get to where the enemies are and do the Arrow Storm to kill them. Go into your eagle sense and look at each of the golden scrolls laying around. Once done, go back to the front of the ship and jump into the water. Follow the red/yellow edges on the mini map until you get to a haystack. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkMcq1_fIPU]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 4 Memory 3 100% Sync - YouTube[/ame] Memory 4: Signs and Symbols, Part 1 There are no extra objectives. Memory 5: Galata Tower Objective: Complete the level within 6 minutes At first this task seems daunting, but it's really not too bad. On the first attempt you may make it or come very close. There are only a few parts that you may take a while on to figure out, everything else is straight forward. The cutscenes do not count against your time. A beeping sound can be faintly heard when you ear nearing the 6 minutes. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm1ufC3m4NY]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 4 Memory 5 100% sync - YouTube[/ame] Memory 5: The Mentor's Wake Objective: Do not lose more than 3 synchronization points A synchronization point is basically 1 bar of health. So do not lose more than 3 bars of health. The only place this can happen is when you have to disarm other assassins (7 of them). Just hold and press when they attack you. The tricky part is climbing up, which can be annoying because not all climb points are obvious. Sequence 5: Heir to the Empire Memory 1: The Janissaries Objective: Distract 2 guards with bombs This is very easy, in fact the sequence involves picking up the bombs and distracting the guards. There will be a spot where you have to distract 2 of them to get by. This is almost mission specific and the bombs are found in gold chests if you run out or don't have any. Memory 2: The Arsenal Gates Objective: Make sure 40 or more rioters survive There are 2 main waves of enemies that you must take out. You can use help from one assassin and by the time you get to the big second wave, it will refill and you'll have arrow storm. This makes it much easier. Also don't be afraid to use other type of weapons (at least that can't harm the rioters). Memory 3: Arsenal Infiltration Objective: Perform an Air Assassination from a zipline There is one main zipline from a building to a ship. It might be easiest to use it on your way "back" when you need to escape. You can lure guards under it if you want with bombs. Memory 4: Portrait of a Lady Objective: Steal the painting without the merchant spotting you You'll have to first find the thief who stole the painting and beat him up. Then you will need to go to the next area where the painting is. When you get to the painting the merchant is standing right next to it. Take note, you can buy the painting but doing so will void the objective. The easy way is to just throw down a smoke bomb and grab it. Memory 5: Signs and Symbols, Part 2 There are no extra objectives. Memory 6: The Forum of the Ox Objective: Do not take any damage The scene where you are chasing the boat is quite scripted, so you shouldn't take any damage while chasing them. You will end up fighting the 4 enemies, and that is when the mission ends. You can use bombs, long ranged weapons, or countering if you feel brave. Memory 7: A New Regime There are no extra objectives. Edited November 19, 2011 by Tyger7
Tyger7
Sequence 6: Fortune's Disfavor Memory 1: Into the Shadows Objective: Assassinate a target from a hiding spot This one will require you to have some cherry bombs at your disposal. Get to the target point and you'll see a haystack nearby. You must lead him to this haystack. Throw a cherry bomb in the middle of him and the haystack. Now get behind the haystack and throw one right in front of it. Now dive in and hope that he comes near enough to assassinate him. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtQjN26XwMo]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 6 Memory 1 100% sync - YouTube[/ame] Alternate Method (Callum x360a): Keep bumping into your target and he will push you away and start following you to push you more. Lead him to the haystack then quickly jump in and assassinate him. You may or may not have to kill other guards. Memory 2: Honor, Lost and Won Objective: Perform an air assassination on Tarik Once you get to the camp, you need to walk as calmly as you can. Always remain within the groups of guards or in a tent. Take the right path and climb the boxes. Jump down into the haystack and assassinate the guard that walks that route. Continue and jump up on the stone wall (you can now see the spot in front of the tent where you need to run to. Jump in yet another haystack and kill the guard. Get to the tent and head to climb up the side. A cutscene will take place. When starting out, run to the haystack on the right, Kill the enemy. Wait until the one in the distance starts walking away. Walk to the structure on the right and climb up. Now you can make a run for a spot to do your air assassination. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIzlL1zb14w]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 6 Memory 2 100% sync - YouTube[/ame] Memory 3: Bearer of Mixed Tidings Objective: Do not kill anyoneUse the girls when you start to walk straight through the entrance. Run from crowd to crowd on the left side until you are able to break free and climb onto the buildings. Now just use the ledges and be careful not to be detected. Be slow and patient. When it seems clear, make a break for the target. Talk to him and now you must make it all the way out of the area without being detected. Turn around and pay the girls behind you to follow. Now make your way on the right area and continue going down the stairs. Try to avoid getting too close to the guards or the ladies will venture off towards them. There's another set near the end, but you won't be needing them. You can just make a run for it. Memory 4: A Little Errand There are no extra objectives. Memory 5: Signs and Symbols, Part 3 There are no extra objectives. Memory 6: The Maiden's Tower Objective: Obtain the Masyaf Key without falling into the water Once you are in the cave pull the switch right in front of you. This is somewhat of a long puzzle but still under 10 minutes. If you fall in the water, just restart. It's not worth the time and effort to climb out of the water and start over. You will have timed parts but they give you more than enough time, so you are okay to think for a few seconds briefly. You can also watch the video below if you get confused on what's next on the route. Once you get the key it's over, you do not have to go back luckily. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouGvsQBLGQE]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 6 Memory 6 100% sync - YouTube[/ame] Memory 7: The Mentor's Return Objective: Do not kill anyone except Abbas and his Captains This mission is quite easy and fairly short. Only kill enemies that are marked on your mini map with the special red symbol. You can basically ignore everyone else just fine, your assassins will take care of everything else. Memory 8: Setting Sail Objective: Do not kill anyone with blades You can use anything but blades, but there's hardly any fighting. Just call your assassins. There's only two fights at the start, you can ignore everything else. Sequence 7: Underworld Memory 1: The Hidden City Objective: Do not get detected You can get kills however you want as long as you aren't detected. You must climb up the middle part and sync the view, then find a person. There is little to no guards walking around. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbKmJ_6Grik]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 7 Memory 1 - YouTube[/ame] Memory 2: The Spy Who Shunned Me Objective: Do not kill anyone Just steal the key from the guard. No one suspects you of anything. Once you get into the red area of the map, run in and gather the guards. Throw a smoke bomb and you're clear to run up the steps and finish the mission. Memory 3: The Renegade Objective: Do not let Janos lose more than half his health They give you just enough time to kill the 4 guards and do the aerial assassination for this, but it's still very easy. Memory 4: Decommissioned Objective: Do not take any damage This might be extremely difficult for some people that aren't good at countering or generally have bad luck. There are many guards you must go up against here and no real easy way to assassinate them safely. On the other hand, if you have 3 poison bombs you will be in great shape. You can also use other weapons that are long ranged. Run and try to gather all the enemies around the area to get them grouped up and chasing you. Have your poison bombed equipped then quickly throw it on the ground to kill the guards around you. Repeat the last 2 bombs and almost every guard should be dead. Now you only have to fight off a couple and complete the main objective. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GVQHgTLeEI]Assassin's Creed Revelations Sequence 7 Memory 4 - YouTube[/ame] Memory 5: Last of the Palaiologi Objective: Do not take any damage When you start, run past everyone and get to the marker. You will have to fight enemies, and there are tons of them! You are disabled from using any bombs so this will be all countering. Luckily once you kill 4-5 enemies, the rest will run away. Then all you have to do is the boss fight. Be extra cautious at the start of the fight, as a guard always seems to grab you. Alternate Method (daishichi): Ignore the fight entirely by jumping up the gate right away. Just be careful not to get hit. Memory 6: Escape Objective: Do not use more than half your health There are some guards to fight if you need, but you can run past most of them. The part that really takes your health is running through the city and your health is being auto depleted. To make this jokingly easy, just have your health potions. It also helps if you have done the Assassin's Guild missions. Memory 7: Passing the Torch There is no extra objective. Tyger7
Sequence 8: The End of an Era Memory 1: Discovery Objective: If attacked, kill 5 guards in close combat without getting hit It's a bit hard to avoid guards, but you can keep calling infinite arrow storm if you want in order to avoid conflict. If you do, just try to counter enemies and not get hit. It might take a few tries to and some luck for this one. Memory 2: The Exchange Objective: Rescue Sofia before she loses 50% health Once you get to the top of the tower, you will watch a cut scene. Then you will need to quickly parachute off to make sure Sofia doesn't lose half of her health. Run to the tree and help her. You do not have to worry about enemies here. Memory 3: End of the Road Objective: Kill 20 guards You will be on a parachute and have to dive down and kill guards on horseback. Do not worry about any other guards besides the ones riding on horses. On your first time through, you should be able to hit around 21 or so. If you throw instead of assassinate you will have a chance of actually throwing a guard into another guard killing them both. Sequence 9: Revelations Memory 1: A Homecoming Memory 2: Lost Legacy Memory 3: The Message There are no extra objectives. Each sequence blends into one big sequence. Delta438
This could be helpful. The ones with "Don't create any conflict" or "Don't get detected" are annoying as hell.
daishichi
Great work as always, Tyger. I had a hard time with 4.2, "The Arsenal Gates", but it might have just been me / my save file. For some reason, my Assassin meter did not refill, so I could not follow your advice of calling in one and then going Arrow Storm. I called in individual assassins to help; I didn't find Arrow Storm very effective anyway. Ultimately just running around with a sword got me way more survivors than my attempts to use knives / crossbow / gun...I think I was probably killing rioters. I found that for 7.4, "Decommissioned", the throwing knives were invaluable. They're much quicker than the crossbow, and though it takes three to take down the heavy enemies, each hit halts them and you'll still drop 'em before they get a swing off. Also used splinter bombs, but a) your poison suggestion sounds smart and b) switching in the weapon wheel back to knives is probably more confusing than it needs to be. In 7.5, "Last of the Palaiologi", I avoided the group fight entirely! After the fat guy closes the gate and you get control back, run straight for the gate and climb over. This worked twice (yes, the fat guy hit me and I had to start over, I didn't have a weapon ready), so it's not just a lucky fluke. You will literally have to hit the X button once and you're done. I'm guessing you will soon be adding the Master Assassin, Faction HQ and Piri Reis Missions? I had to redo a couple of those last night, and found them far less than obvious: The Cherry Bomb mission asks you start 2 fights between Ottomans and Byzantines, but the first bomb they force you to throw doesn't do that, and after the second one (which does), you're told to leave the area. Don't. You can continue to throw cherry bombs, so toss one down the street past the guards that are behind you to your right after throwing sample bomb #2. The Champion, Part II was probably the most frustrating; the optional objective is not to allow the Herald to lose any health. Attackers look like citizens and can't be locked onto until they're very close; if I swung at one, another got by. Saw a tip online that helped: throw a gold bomb. The crowd will not only bump into the attackers, they will actually grab their arms like a vigilante group and allow you to kill at your leisure. I used my throwing knives here too, made it easy to stay near the Herald and pick off the attackers whether near or far (though I think I killed a civilian or two). SpinelesS
Memory 4: The View from Galata Objective: Climb the tower in under 60 secondsFollow Yusuf up the wall and remember to keep tapping to use the hook. There is a point where you can go right instead of following Yusuf to the left. Do this so that he doesn't get in your way. After the cut scene it will tell you the objective is complete. this should really be hold A for a few seconds to do hook double jumps.
Crimson Ridley
Sequence 6, Memory 1 - When I did this, I didn't use ay bombs. I removed the guard presence first (though this may not actually be required). I then located my target and just held RT and ran into him. This caused him to follow me to try and push me away. I got him to follow me over to the haystack, where I quickly jumped in and pressed X to assassinate him. Easy!

Same here. I'd change your description, as you don't need to fight them and doing so will probably cause more heartache. From when you start, stay on the roofs. Jump to the right and along the buildings edge. Jump to the hanging lantern and press to reach the other side. The guards up ahead will block you off, but you and jump over the top of them due to the boxes and hanging platform. Then just head to the gate but make sure you don't leap off the buildings as you'll get hurt. So run off them with by holding down After the cutscene, run inbetween the 2 guards ahead of you (you may be locked onto one of them, so press if you are), then just run up to the gate and climb over it. None of the guards can follow you that fast and there's no one the other side. Just make sure you don't take your time when climbing, otherwise they'll throw stones at you and you'll get hurt and fall off. Necrophage33
Just thought I'd mention that it's a little deceiving where you mention about the opportunity in Memory 2 to obtain the Iron Curtain achievement. You say that all you have to do is not fire the cannon and you'll get the achievement. This isn't entirely true, since you need to complete the den defense without your den taking damage as well. Tyger7
All right I edited accordingly thank you everyone. Things like being able to skip a whole part is helpful because of course when I played it, I didn't know the gate was already open! I thought it opened after I killed the enemies. As far as being able to use a different weapon or different method, I might edit those in depending on the info. Things I won't be editing in are more like using certain weapons instead type deal. Like on a lot of missions I might say use a poison dart, but of course you can kill an enemy however you want and those specific tactics might work better for some and not for others. Otherwise I appreciate feedback as always and I'm glad to check up on this and update it accordingly. Anyone can provide their personal methods/experiences with memories. This will help when people don't have certain things on hand (parachutes, certain bombs, etc).
Entity
Thank you very much for the awesome guide. That tip about sequence one about not failing any tails was amazing. I thought the whole time that I was supposed to kill all 9 and kept replaying because I thought one got away. In reality I had to just follow one undetected, which was easy. Lol. Nozza
Memory 4: Portrait of a Lady Objective: Steal the painting without the merchant spotting you Another easy way to go this and it saves using a bomb and causing panic in the area. If you're looking head on at the stall, head down the corridor to your left and up ahead are a group of Romanies. Now simply pay them (cost is minimal) and walk incognito up to the stall and grab it. Memory 2: Honor, Lost and Won Objective: Perform an air assassination on Tarik I did this another way, and it may be worth a try as you don't have to kill anyone, so the worry of it all goes down a little. Just keep to the main path and groups in the first area and use the moving lot to pass the first gate. When in the second area, again stay to the tents and groups but get into the top left corner. When clear, climb the wall you'll be able to pass into the last area. Look down right below you and a group will be there. Wait until the guard to your left has his back turned and simply drop down into them. Trigger the cutscene, and then just head back to the left side and climb the structure to reach the bits and bobs so you end up above Tarik. You can do it really fast and not one kill is involved, saving you the hassle of possibly getting caught. Memory 8: Setting Sail Objective: Do not kill anyone with blades To save you on using your Assassin bars, you can use your fists to still do takedowns. It doesn't kill them, it only knocks them out. SneakyofSneaks
Memory 8: Setting Sail Objective: Do not kill anyone with blades I used bombs from the building opposite, attract the first lot then kill them with a bomb, you can use crossbow on the person to the left, then once chain is gone you can use a bomb on the 4 on the dock then run past or crossbow everyone else. zebulen
A tip is that from the weapon select screen, you can press A while a bomb is selected to craft more, and not have to go to a crafting box to do it. Kyle Isaac
@Daishichi For the Champion: Part 2, stink bombs with British gunpowder work wonders, my friend! Use impact casings, and drop them around the herald; as the stalkers come in, they'll stop in their tracks, sometimes running away all together! Nothing like a stinky fart to deter murder! lmao
Syrette
I used bombs from the building opposite, attract the first lot then kill them with a bomb, you can use crossbow on the person to the left, then once chain is gone you can use a bomb on the 4 on the dock then run past or crossbow everyone else. I think you can just simply run past enemies.
SpinelesS
Memory 7: The Mentor's Return Objective: Do not kill anyone except Abbas and his Captains This mission is quite easy and fairly short. Only kill enemies that are marked on your mini map with the special red symbol. You can basically ignore everyone else just fine, your assassins will take care of everything else. Got near the end of this memory and used the Arrow storm, failing the mission. Might want to mention that you can't use your recruit abilities. Ron Jeremy R6
A tip is that from the weapon select screen, you can press A while a bomb is selected to craft more, and not have to go to a crafting box to do it. This was very helpful on sequence 7 mission 4 when using poison bombs, because you can make more mid fights. what the hell, never knew this damnit.. SpinelesS
How about memory 8 sequence 3 because I'm having a lot of trouble on that one. Kill 20 guards? Dont bother with the X to assassinate button, just use B to throw. It kills the guy, and sticks him on your hook. From there you point the left stick in the direction you wish to throw the body. Hit a rider and thats 2 kills . I failed the first time because I used X, then successfully completed it the next time by just using B Edited November 28, 2011 by SpinelesS
