Crimson Death
So, what is Super Dante like? How much easier does he make the harder modes?
Dirty130
I don't use him because you get a 50% reduction in score.. It would make the game easier that's for sure. I remember using Super Dante in DMC1 a long, long time ago..
Asturgis
The game is out today, how is this even possible, seriously?
mr wong tong
The game is out today, how is this even possible, seriously? Somebody doesn't pre order online :3 I got my anarchy reigns 10 days early. Some DMC guys got their copy 5 days early.

MidgetsInactive
Use Super Dante for Hell and Hell mode. Or at least, that's all I found it good for.
MicroCool
One my favorite parts of the game was in the first mission where Dante was getting his clothes and then the tradional Gray Wig fell on his head and he said "not a chance in hell", I thought it was pretty funny. So far this game kicks ass?
Dirty130
I really think using SD on your first attempt at Hell and Hell is cutting you short of an amazing challenge but each to their own..
Legendary IXI
Man, the super costume probably makes Hell or Hell mode a cake walk. I remember when I played DMC4. I don't think I had it by that point.
Dirty130
I agree. A cake walk.. That's why I want to do it without SD to begin with. I think the average gamer would still struggle in parts with SD on HnH, but this game has checkpoints pretty often plus having a bunch of health stars up your sleeves will make it almost enjoyable I think. Edit: You can tell who uses SD on HnH when viewing the leaderborads because their score is halved. Just saying.. Die 5 times= - 50% score the same as using SD so not really.
Dirty130
Haha.. Yeah, I don't know why I typed that. My Bad. It took me all day, but I finished HnH without SD and I got a bunch of #1 spots on the leaderboards across almost 1/2 of the levels on HnH. Yay and stuff.. Dirty130
I continually switch weapons during combos to get my style meter to SSS as fast as possible.
SK L4xX
How do you kill vergil in Hell and Hell? i really dont get his pattern and dont know how to do some damage on him... any advice?
Dirty130
Always try to attack from behind by rolling past him. Especially when he's charging an attack or in the air.. Safely, parry as much as possible. Make sure to have killed Virgil's clone/s when he's close to death, then DT him as soon as he goes into health regen. Crimson Death
Is it possible to use Super Dante in the secret missions where you get one hit and fail?
Dirty130
I don't know. I did all the secret missions without SD, no problems. I still haven't used SD..
