I honestly didn't catch it right away but my girlfriend pointed it out about halfway through the scene. Girls are smarter than boys. I rewatched the episode tonight and noticed that in the opening flashback scene when Walt called and told his very first lie there was a little foreshadowing with the camera shot of Skylar picking up the phone next to the knives. They used the exact same shot later when she went for the knife, which was sitting next to the phone. Rapture639
Good catch! Did you catch Walt's pants on the ground in the desert when he was rolling the barrel? You mean in this scene? Yeah I didn't catch it at first until I rewatched the episode again. While it didn't really dawn on me the first time, rewatching the episode again made me realize just how powerful this scene was: http://i.minus.com/ibOpt9vbQtzZ0.gif You can say that Walt "Broke Bad" several times throughout the show, but I think this is the first time he truly realizes just how badly he hurt his family through his reckless decisions/actions while claiming that it was all done in the interest of protecting his family. Also, I wanted to share this since I thought it was pretty funny (and something to help lighten the mood). http://25.media.tumblr.com/493346e650078beb68063b5cca46e756/tumblr_mt8af9VrGP1rckw3lo1_1280.png Edited September 17, 2013 by Rapture639
BiggD
Omg... just started watching and finished season one. I. Am. Hooked. AMC puts out some brilliant shows. First TWD, now Breaking Bad! Go Heisenberg! That Tuco scene at the end of 1x07 was just... wow. I'm positive it gets better and better! Glad you're enjoying it thus far It gets 34334x times better from there! Yeah I didn't catch it at first until I rewatched the episode again. While it didn't really dawn on me the first time, rewatching the episode again made me realize just how powerful this scene was: http://i.minus.com/ibOpt9vbQtzZ0.gif Ah! this was the scene I was talking about yesterday. We were discussing this on the other site a week ago. It's too damn much money to drop at one time for a TV show. I already have the first five on Blu-Ray, I'll just pick up season five part two and be done with it. I hope the alternate ending shows up online pretty quickly though.
