Nevander
http://gfxuploader.com/images/trdllimeij5aq1kw830.png ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE Duke Nukem 3D Achievement Guide Written by Nevander For use on x360a only NOTE: Roadmaps were not in place at the time of me writing this guide. I may come back and add one eventually. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/CU/E8/1ICLiGJhbC83FQUXXFJRFjAxL2FjaC8wL0MAAAAA5+fn+xNBEg==.jpg Alien Maggots are Gonna Pay - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif Finish the "Hollywood Holocaust" level in under 3 minutes. You must finish the very first level in under three minutes, which is actually very easy. You don't have to really rush to make it in under 3 minutes. Here is a link to a step-by-step guide to doing it also by Amazon XD: GUIDE And here is a video speed-run of level one on PC: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEzWBMHFVQE]YouTube - Duke Nukem 3D Level 1 speedrun[/ame] http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/7l/1D/1ICLiGJhbC9NFQUXXFJRFjAxL2FjaC8wLzkAAAAA5+fn+2xd9Q==.jpg Shake It Baby - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif Tip an exotic dancer. In the second level in the first episode, called "Red Light District", get past the door that requires the yellow key. Go inside the building then take a left, then turn right to face the pool table. Go past it and take the first right into the bar. Go up to the woman in blue and black and press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/x.png. Here's a video in case you're lost: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmHv3YqrJ-k&feature=related]YouTube - Duke Nukem 3D - XBLA Shake It Baby[/ame] http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/mr/nc/1YCLiGJhbC82FQUXXFJRFjAxL2FjaC8wL0IAAAAA5+fn+vO5gQ==.jpg Duke's Mighty Foot - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif Step on 40 enemies after using the Shrinker on them. Simply shrink enemies using the Shrinker and walk up to them to step on them. Rinse and repeat. The Shrinker is the silver looking ray gun weapon with a green ammo cell in the middle of it. You first acquire the Shrinker on Episode I Level 4, in the part when you need to slide a card (red card I think) and then it reveals the Shrinker, and you need to get to the other side of a small passage. You can shrink any enemy, including the alien pods or eggs (Thanks Wilkz07). The absolute easiest way to get this is to start up "Duke Burger" in Episode IV and go to the back to the drive through and press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/x.png on the menu, then jump on top of it and grab the Shrinker and blue key card in a compartment which opens, save your game, use all the ammo, load and repeat. All kills are saved. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/L7/D9/14CLiGJhbC81FQUXXFJRFjAxL2FjaC8wL0EAAAAA5+fn+NKwNA==.jpg Looks Like Cleanup on Aisle 4 - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif Step in a pile of excrement. On the second level of Episode IV, called "Duke Burger", play through the level until you get to the bathroom where you shrink yourself, go through the vent in the right corner. Then you will be in the kitchen, turn right and go into a hallway with a red key door. Go through the red key door and the poop is at the side of the assembly line thing after the laser trip bombs. Step in it to receive this achievement. You can also get it in a Dukematch on the same level and also on the level "Lunar Reactor" (I think). In the area with the first key card, there is a portable med kit and it is in here, just walk around. It is on the way to the key card, you can't miss it. You can either get them legit (it's not that difficult) or you can boost in the way below: To do it legit, the best way to do this is to try to get 10-20 kills per match and try to get the 8-player matches on Stadium. Just shoot at people with your pistol and you'll get kills no problem. To boost, get a one on one on Hollywood Holocaust or Movie Set. Kill yourself and the other player with a rocket launcher. 1 suicide + 1 kill = 2 kills. The rocket launcher is in the beginning at the secret spot (Thanks Birky), or on Movie Set, inside the fake space ship control room. Edited July 2, 2013 by Nevander Revising entire guide. the blac plague
the game isn't even out yet, You cant make a guide without the game It's going to be the same as the pc version, so it's possible to make a guide before the xbla version of the game comes out. Nevander
the game isn't even out yet, You cant make a guide without the game So what? The guide is still the guide, we have the achievement list, I guessed and or used previous knowledge from the PC version to make out how to get the achievements. Does it really matter when it is made? It's still going to be made right?

Mellar
Well done Nevander, don't listen to that dick saying you can't write a guide if it's not out yet, it's the same game. I'll be looking forward to the online though such a good game, can't wait
Nevander
Thank you Mellar. Finally someone who appreciates my work.
Mellar
No problem, the best thing to do is buy the game when it comes out and just see if your guide helps you through the game, if it does just send it to the mods to put up
Amazon XD
No, the person has right in the way of saying that you shouldn't post Achievement Guides until the game comes out. I personally (especially in cases like this, where there are re-releases) don't care, but mods always get angry when you post achievement guides before the release date, but since I highly doubt any mods are really worried about this board, it'll be fine. Nevander
Why should anyone get mad about someone creating a little document with text and pictures at a certain time on a website. I mean who cares? Like I said to the guy that said "You can't release this before the game blah blah blah...", the guide is still the guide. It will be made. It has been made. Especially if it is a re-release. Same game man, just slight changes. By the way, the mods haven't said a single thing to me yet, I haven't even had any contact by any of them yet. So how about you worry about yourself and stop saying who's right and wrong.
skater89
On the "Shake it Baby" video you posted, the Achievement Unlocked thing pops up... how???
Nevander
On the "Shake it Baby" video you posted, the Achievement Unlocked thing pops up... how??? It unlocks because this is a video of the XBL version that the beta testers, I guess, filmed. They went up to a chick and pressed the use button, then they got the achievement. Simple. Nevander
If it's going to be deleted, why hasn't it been already? I thought the mods here are spot on? If they are it would be gone already. And honestly, I don't see ANYTHING wrong with posting an achievement guide on a website for a game that will be coming out that half the world already knows pretty much by heart. I think you're jealous that I made it first. BTW: From the link you posted: "If you were lucky enough to get the game early, or if the game is a direct port (i.e. the game actually is out already, just not on the 360)" Looks like I win. tastefulmrship
Great guide, dude! Also, thanks for the SECRETS GUIDE... saves me hunting GameFAQs! I find it ironic that the guy who said you shouldn't post guides before the game is released is a BANNED USER. Says something about him! (but in interests of fairness, simple-minded political correctness & downright dumbness... he has the right to express his own opinions, even if the admins of this board obviously do not agree with them!) Nevander
Ok I understand that I should ask permission first and all. I guess since I love Duke so much and stuff I just wanted to finally be the first to create an achievement guide for it and I guess I thought someone would beat me to it so I just kinda went ahead and just directly posted it. I mean at least I made the guide right, I think. I mean everything is in correct format so that's a plus. Sorry if I was acting like a dick mjc0961, like I said it's my first guide, I just wanted to finally have one made. No hard feelings.

Posting it early is probably the only thing you did wrong, but overall the guide looks pretty good. Once it comes out and you figure out the online kills boosting, they'll probably post it on the site. Anyway, here's to some friendly fragging over Xbox Live! PyroFenix
oh yeah, looks hot and already do-able, i did use a PC strat guide for the 360 version, so i can see doing the same for this.
tadpeters
Good job Nevander. I have the game today and your guide helped me out a lot thus far in figuring some stuff out before hand. Ignore the nay-sayers you have my vote. It gave me some time to research some stuff a day in advance to be prepared.
