twotonkoala
Is it tough? Sure. Is it impossible? Far from it. It's not as hard as people make it out to be, in my opinion. But really, there's a few threads that kind of cover this in more detail. At least enough information to help make your mind up about it: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=377599 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=377465

Splinter4
Well, it's not quite to the insanity of "Veteran" Mode on Call of Duty (well, COD 2 thru 5 anyway) ...but it is definitely challenging. I enjoyed it a lot. It'll feel good once you get through it, so yeah I'd say it's worth the headache. Cheers
Puppys
In my opinion, its probably slightly less challenging than COD 3 and world at war's veteran. The checkpoints can be very long and heavies are extremely hard as well. The best part is no choke points with infinite enemies
Emperor 95
i accomplished it without too much hassle. there were a couple of rage areas that are considerably harder than others but overall, not too bad
Skorpion XBA
There are only a few stages that gave me issues. What I did was go at it from different angles until I found the one that got me through it.
kushlash23
I am still torn on trying this mode or running through on normal and enjoying the game for it's story. Which I hear is quite good.
The Big LT
Well, it's not quite to the insanity of "Veteran" Mode on Call of Duty (well, COD 2 thru 5 anyway) ...but it is definitely challenging. CoD veteran difficulties are a walk in the park compared to this! Not once on any play through of any Cod game on veteran have I died so much and had to restart the same checkpoint twenty plus times! Schreckofant
This game is so based. It would be a walk in the park if you could just kill your AI partners like you literally kill thousands of other soldiers in this game, so that you could actually play "tactical" instead of having to babysit your two retarded friends. "Squad shooter" (I think "Escort Quest" would be a better description for these games) and the only command you have is giving your squad an attack command, which 90% of the times makes them run into a turret or 20 enemies. You can't even tell them where to go, wtf is this? The challenging parts are really frustrating because they are kinda "cheap" difficult, like finally killing those heavies and than being gunned down by enemies spawning right behind you out of nowhere, or having your AIs die from grenades/turrets or having 5 guys run into your position ... coz that's whats every trained soldier does. But yeah, the story is a nice change at least. Unfortunately the gameplay can't keep up. Edited January 28, 2014 by Schreckofant

Zero fun.

Jack Frost
Be careful because I've caught the game cheating in FUBAR. During an early level, I was having a real easy time, just slaughtering enemies and running through. There was a choke point where I had to shoot a bunch of guys in a two-story room and it was easiest to do through a doorway. After I killed every enemy and the firing stopped, we finally went into the room. As soon as I did one last enemy, who'd apparently been not firing the whole time, pops up from behind a counter and kills me in one hit. For a time I just assumed it was the game reminding me I was on FUBAR. Then there's a later mission where you're on the roof of a skyscraper and you have to snipe all of the enemies off the top of another building and then zipline to it. Remembering this sequence from my lower-difficulty playthrough, I finished it pretty fast. When you've killed all of the enemies, there's an announcement that they're all dead and that it's cool to zip across, so I did. It changes into an animatic at that point and you have no control over what happens. So as Walker zips across the line, I see one last enemy pop up from behind one of the air conditioners and try to take some shots. Because it was an animatic though, the shots didn't register. But that means either the game lied when it said everyone was dead and I could zip over, or it tried to cheat and kill me cheaply to remind me I was playing FUBAR. So watch out for this kind of nonsense...
