ChesterBlaise
I hate the quest 'Them!' It scares the hell out of me, purely for the jump scares and the sound of the ants legs
captpluto9465
It's not outright scary to me, but certain areas set me on edge and the vaults especially make me claustrophobic. The radroaches drive me crazy and the DC area freaks me out mainly because it's so threatening there with all the overpowered enemies.
BurningChrome
I haven't really been scared, per se. I never fail to laugh my ass off when I encounter the Raider that sounds like Moe from The Simpsons though! Sometimes I feel a pang of guilt (or something like that) when I shoot a fleeing raider in the back. But I usually assuage myself with the knowledge that they would have pursued me and dealt the same punishment to me as well. Also, if you have a chance, check out the McClellan Family Townhome in Georgetown. The first time I had the robot read the "children" the poem, I was very moved by the whole experience. I even Googled the poem and discovered the author Sara Teasdale had written some other very good poetry, if you're into that sort of thing. The game has a ton of atmosphere and I'll go back to it and play it for a week or two before putting it up again for a bit. But I've never been scared by it. Bubbameister
The only thing that creeped me out about this game for the past 4 years are centaurs. For some reason those things are too freaky.
judd90
I wouldn't say scared but I know what you mean, it is freaky as in the tunnels. I hate going down there lol
Madame Kennedy
As far as fear, there were plenty of moments during my first playthrough of the game. My first Deathclaw encounter (was TERRIFIED of them in the beginning lol), certain vaults (I remember there being one where all of the vault dwellers were mentally insane; the one filled with extreme radiation levels), the dreaded Dunwich building (later runthroughs I didn't even go in there lol), and the giant radscorpions (have a fear of them IRL). Warstorm Lord
It's an special atmosphere that Bethesda created in this game and I loved every second of it. This insanity that accompanies the whole surrounding world is just something really exclusive.

Hards
I suppose certain parts of it make me feel uneasy, certainly not scared though.
SeductiveNoodle
You should go explore the Dunwich building, there might be some "odd" things that happen there
Madame Kennedy
Ohhhhh Dunwich~ The one location I tended to avoid after the first playthrough lol. I'd rather pay regular visits to Old Olney.
HTownBoi
Not very frightening, but when a some just runs up behind you and hits you, it can make you jump.
xKRAIZEEMANx
Try Vault 106.... [spoiler=abc]There are these weird flashbacks of the former inhabitants, and playing late at night with surround sound up loud....gets kinda spooky

Iceskater101
I remember there was this part right in the beginning of the game where you could explore some old church/school and enemies just popped out of no where and I did get a little scared at that part. CHIRUNO99
I wouldn't say it's scary, I've played more frightening games, but it is pretty startling to suddenly see Feral Ghouls all of a sudden.
Kunduz
more startled, if anything...
A Dubb
I would have to say the vaults kinda freaked me out. But that was probably about it...
runswithscissors
The tree was freaky (just did that today). And sometime I walked into a room and there was a skull on a stick right in front of my face which was a bit weird. And of course stuff jumping out from nowhere but I think I've got used to that now
Neme6ben
I found some places pretty scary too, like the springvale school I think, it's so dark in there and there are bodies scattered in there, pretty creepy for an rpg!

THC BLUNTED
The game can get pretty creepy at times that is for sure. I dreaded the underground tunnels when I was a low level because I was weak and things tend to come out of no where down there. Also, death claws freak me out from time to time. They are a really powerful enemy and they have a long lunge distance, not good when they attack from behind. The vaults can also be creepy areas, some are worse than others. Especially the one with the cloned guy everywhere (Gary I believe). Other than that it isn't to bad when, just get a follower and crank up the galaxy radio. But I have yet to play point lookout, so we will see how that goes.....
Broodjekipkorn
Nope, not actually scared. Sometimes when I didn't see anybody and suddenly there's someone behind you... Well yeah, I jump. But I'm definitely not scared.
