Snowwwwy
As a rule, co-op tends to be fun, while MP tends to be painful. Yeh, I agree with you, coop has some fun achievements.
Lethal Dame
Most of my friends play PC so I don't have a lot of people to play Co-op or Multiplayer with on XBL. It is because of this that I prefer games without Multiplayer achievements, I don't like to rely on randoms.
AlphaGamer
I prefer games without multiplayer achievements because when people eventually stop playing multiplayer then you cant get them, just leaves a bad aftertaste.
AssassinGnome
i prefer single player games i dont like to depend on other players to obtain them example the bioshock 2 multiplayer maps i had to rely with 5 other players in order to obtain that achievement. TheDarkAvenger
Offline. My perfect type of achievement list is like Dead Space and Left 4 Dead, you just do fun, silly things. (Minus the kill a million zombies ones)
Baylor05
Man people on here really hate online achievements. I do prefer offline achievements, because then I don't have to worry about boosting or the servers going down like on Madden. However, I do think multiplayer achievements can add to a game's value. The online achievements for Gears of War 2 and Halo: Reach in my opinion are not impossible to get even without boosting, and personally give me incentive to play multiplayer when I wouldn't otherwise. I don't play Call of Duty multiplayer since there are no achievements, and I would if there were. If a game is going to be supported for a few years like Halo and Gears of War, then go ahead and put online achievements. I think if the developers know their game isn't going to dominate the multiplayer scene, then yeah they should choose to leave them out. I know it can be hard to predict the future for developers, but at least make the online achievements achieveable without 100 hours of gameplay required. That's all I ask. Andreas_loel
I prefer games with good achievementlists and fun and enjoyable achievements, couldnt care less if they are online or offline tbh. But then again i dont boost 99% of my games like most scorewhores seem to do
Braiiins
I don't mind them unless they're ridiculous. Maybe like a "reach maximum level" achievements are okay but stuff like "win x matches on these maps" or "get 100k kills". My big problem is co-op achievements that don't allow online play but there's not many games that do that I think.

DragonsGoMOO
I prefer games without multiplayer achievements because when people eventually stop playing multiplayer then you cant get them, just leaves a bad aftertaste. Much like Turok. I could NOT find a match at all. I rented it and tried.
Midnight Malice
I'm in that situation with AvP I want to just play for my last achievement of XP but not only did the matchmaking suck when the game was first out, nobody is even playing anymore. I think with inevitabilities of server closures, or just dead community, they need to impliment some rule for achievements that require online play to auto unlock or something after they are no longer attainable. Maybe have developers required to alter them to single player or something if servers close so people can still attain full completion. With so many people into achievements you would think there would be more strict rules involving glitches and unobtainable. I know people so into full completion that they have started new accounts because of Pro Street and UFC 09 glitched/unobtainable achievements. lordthrash
WITHOUT!!!! Please developers take the hint! No more lame ass online achievements!! Also put splitscreen back into games so i don't have to beg my friends to get a game just to get co-op achievements!
FuelRodGrunts
Personally, I like multiplayer achievements Just because it adds more to do then just gain levels, guns exc. Tirianticore
I don't really game online much. Only during xtival or whenever it is free. So I hate multiplayer achievements 'cause they rob me of my 1000/1000.

Iceskater101
I really like multiplayer achievements but in saying that I won't buy a game if the campaign completely sucks.. if thats the case then I'm not going to try the game. I do feel multiplayer achievements are kinda fun depending on the game. Sometimes they can be rather annoying
skaghead
On the whole i prefer not to have MP achievements , but if you do have to have them , make them different and fun , not x amount of kills, be no1 on the scoreboard , etc..
SpiralGamerpro
Without. Sometimes those Achievements can screw us with dead servers.
xshadowscreamx
i have to say without becouse you dont have to relay on perfect circumstances during multiplayer matches and that you dont need gold service to attempt online achievements.
Turkeyshoot37
I think multi-player achievements are great if they're meant to get you into the multi-player mode - just give you a reason to try it out. Multi-player achievements that require you to some kind of ridiculous b.s. are annoying.
