SuperWoody64
To those who have this already, do the "do all of a certain thing" achievements require a single playthrough? I hated that about 1, having to find every food in a single playthrough and such.
KriugerisLT
For the Head Trauma achievement, do you need to use such things as trash cans, benches and other furniture and props for it? Or only obvious melee weapons, like swords, knifes, axes and so on

I hated that about 1, having to find every food in a single playthrough and such. 50/50 Some yes and some will carry over, just keep always using the same save-slot. For specific achievements just take a look in this very thread. For the Head Trauma achievement, do you need to use such things as trash cans, benches and other furniture and props for it? Or only obvious melee weapons, like swords, knifes, axes and so on If you really take a good look on the Interactive Map (Section WEAPONS). This should answer your question. KriugerisLT
Does the Overtime mode have a time limit? Because i'm in the overtime now, and the mission bar is white, and it's been quite some time. If the overtime mode has an infinite time limit, then it would be a great place to do the 72k kills EDIT: Damn, it has a time limit, only noticed it a couple of moments ago. Guess i'll have to farm kills the hard way Edited September 26, 2010 by KriugerisLT

eightyse7en
started the 72k earlier and i'm up to 10k after about 12 in-game hours. the way to go is surely the suv, but i can't help feel there's not enough time. the zombies thin out too often so i'm left picking off a dozen or so strays til i can find another half decent crowd. now and again you return to an area you've left for a while (such as outside the arena) and hit the motherload but i don't think it's enough. i start the game, head to americana for my car magazine and ribs, go get in the hummer and go clockwise around the strip. i'm getting 1000kills in about 4minutes real time. am i just adding this up wrong? m4milo
I played the first game and I'm seeing an achievement for this game that you have to kill 72,000 zombies. Does this has to be done in one playthrough like the first game for it to count? Or is there a saver counter for doing it on multiple playthroughs? I must have killed at least 200,000 zombies on my 5 playthroughs + a failed Zombie Genocide Master. In other words, IT HAS TO BE DONE IN 1 PLAYTHROUGH!!! TheFreshPrince
I never played DR1 but really enjoyed Case Zero, and am wondering how I should attack DR2. With Case Zero i played through the story and then went back for Achievements and exploration. Is this the best way to play through DR2? Go through a full story play through and then back for the other stuff? I'm not sure I have the time for 3-4 full playthroughs like guides are recommending, so just want suggestions on the best way to get the most out of the game! Is it possible to complete the story on the first go, or is a restart/level-carry-over pretty much required to finish the story successfully? And at what level should I restart, if that's required?
